ZEYAR Premium Acrylic Paint Pen, Water Based, Extra Fine Point, 18 Colors, Odorless, Acid Free and Safe, Opaque Ink, Environmental Friendly, AP Certified

I just got these pens after seeing the great number of colors, the reviews, and because the price of the Posca brand is much higher than these, and I was looking for a cheaper option. I got them two days after and so far they work great! I like the tip style better than the Poscas I was using before because they are sturdy and made of this plastic material, and they don't seem to flood my paper as much (only two did that the one time I have used them, and my white posca made a puddle all of the time when I pressed it). One thing though is they are a lot smaller than I thought, this isn't a problem but I am just used to the bigger size, so to give a measurement they one pen (with the cap) is roughly 7 1/4 inches, (13 1/2 centimeters) long and a bit more than a centimeter thick. Maybe the size was mentioned and I didn't see it, but I still think the product is great!

It turned out perfectly so many bright colors they could be seen a mile away, it even rained for a hot minute & the colors didn’t fade anyway I was so surprised very happy with them would buy again!

The priming process was easy and about as expected. The only ones I had any spillage from were due to overpriming (depressing the nib too many times). Even that wasn't much though - see wipe-off sheetLines all seemed fine and consistent, colors flowed easily, and there was no bleed through on the paper I was using, although that could partially be attributed to the paper. I haven't tested water fastness yet, but overall the markers seem good.The only negative I have was with the packaging. I'm not sure what alternatives there are, but shrink wrapping each individual marker seems excessive. If the shrink wrap is required to prevent drying out, maybe shrink wrapping 18 at once instead of individual markers? It took longer to unpackage everything than it did to do my test swatches.

I have never bought paint markers in my life. but decided to go with these. My package arrived the next day! (very impressed.) So, I tried out every marker immediately. All the colors are good. I like that brown is included because i plan to paint some horses on rocks, but I digress. After trying them all out I decided I am going to store them UPRIGHT. This is just a personal choice. I might have read markers can LEAK (not sure if these have had that problem)? but I don't want to find out. the markers worked great for writing thin letters, they worked on black and worked on rocks. If I have any bad experiences I will update my review.

I love these markers and use them all the time. I use them alot when crafting. They are perfect for outlining before you paint like the bat and other items on my DIY scrap wood Halloween houses. They are dark enough to look like you painted it with a brush but give you much more control.

I like the fine tip. Also, the user friendliness of the product. Getting them printed for use was easy and quick. With other brands, during the process, the paint would pour out of the nib, and/or around the nib of the barrel and was a complete mess. These were not. I like the variety of surfaces that you can use these with as well.The only small drawback I have is the fact that the names of colors are not marked on the pen itself. There are multiple colors of just a few, so just be sure of what you grab before applying to your project.I would love to review more of their products, as the pamphlet inside said they carry different types of pens, etc.I made a little swatch to have as reference, and to see the vibrancy of the colors. They are great.

When I opened the package, I was immediately surprised at how tiny these paint markers really are. As you can see, I’ve placed the box next to a Post-It Note pad so you can see for yourself how small the pens are.Today, I tested the pens on 2 canvas projects I’m working on for clients. These paint markers make VERY THIN lines, which I would recommend for detail work, adding drop shadows and embellishments to lettering.However, I needed paint markers that were bigger and thicker so I could make thick lines on larger canvases.As you can see from the up close up photos, the paint marker nibs splatter and get jammed up on canvas— often the ink would stop flowing which, If that is the look you are going for, then it’s great! However, I was looking for clean lines, and these water based markers do not work well on canvas.In the photos, my canvas has a base coat of Acrylic paint, however even on the blank canvas, the paint markers do not perform well.I’d love to hear from Zeyar, maybe they have a better product I can try.

These paint pens are super for detail work. The color saturation is perfect. Satisfied!
