To fix a snow blower

Wow! So impressed! The original plastic cable guide on my 721 was an obvious factory issue. Just like everyone on here, I ordered this to replace the poorly designed plastic one. Once the cable rubbed a grove, the cable would stick and cause the paddles to be constantly engaged. To my surprise, an updated metal guide came today even though I ordered what looked like another plastic one. Thanks, Toro for realizing that you had a poorly designed part and did something about it! I love my Toro single stage snow blower!I do wish Toro would've proactively sent this to me knowing there is a HUGE safety issue here. Imo lawsuit waiting to happen with the paddles stuck going all of the time!!

My order was filled by "Bill's Place" Outdoor Power Equipment. I took a chance, since the Amazon description is outdated. I received a Genuine Toro Part along with Toro Installation Instructions.As others have indicated, Toro has redesigned this part. My order was filled with Toro Part No. 140-3660 (metal). This is a superior replacement for 108-4919 (plastic).It was easy to replace the original plastic cable guide on my Toro 721E snowblower with this metal replacement.

This is a cheap plastic piece, just like the original. Probably last a year.

I thought it was the same plastic part much harder to install but a definitely improved part won’t need to replace like the plastic used to wear out easily. Has a nut and bolt I superglue the nut in place because I can’t hole everything in place without the glue

The metal 2 piece part I received not what is pictured. Seems to work fine.

The metal guide is perfect. The plastic guides are junk. Thank you so much.

I like that its aluminum and better than OEM
