You need a lot more heat than suggested
This requires effort to get it to melt is a lot more than the suggested ad. It's only barely interesting. Maybe you can find a user for it we couldn't.

Not 99.99% Gallium
Gallium has a density of roughly 5.1g/cm^3. However, the sample I received had a density of roughly 3.02g/cm^3. Therefore, this is not 99.99% pure gallium, and I doubt that this is even gallium at all (at most, it is like 10% gallium). As a result of this, it does not melt in your hand, and it is has no use.

I tried to talk to seller first
So I have used and bought gallium from many sources, However, this is by far the worst. I sent a message to seller when a student explained how there was only a small amount that would melt and the rest was a hard piece like tin or something, I'm not sure. But it won't melt even with boiling water. Only a small tiny bit would go to a liquid. Very sad. Be safe and buy from legitimate sources.
