Matt Hayes Adventure (1.8m/6ft) Multi-Species All Round Telescopic Complete Fishing Set with Rod Reel Line Hooks and Spinners [99-6085050]

Both items were supplied without the handbook, despite contacting the seller direct who explained that the items come pre boxed from Fladen but he would chase them up, this was 6 weeks ago now and still I’ve heard nothing ...very disappointed. Also the rods were fluorescent pink in color and not as picture indicates. As these were presents for two boys aged 17 I feel that the color is not for them so again disappointed

The rod isn’t too bad for the money , but the reel and line is terrible, and the weights that come with it are an absolute joke , you would break your teeth trying to put them on the line , other than that everything else is mediocre

Good travel road, used it at fort William and caught some nice thornback rays with it.

Surprised at the quality for the price. Range of tackle also good. Line wasn't the best though. Still had a few mackerel off the rocks with a simple plug. Good buy for a beginner or for a bit of unplanned fishing.

Poor quality

Kit is ok for a holiday or second rod/starter set up but the weights provided are impossible to close, need teeth like jaws from james bond to close them.
