Expensive but high quality Bug Out Bag or Emergency Kit item.
I own a DDitW emergency sleeping bag that is part of my daily hiking gear. So when I saw this on a Lightning Deal, I picked it up, and am happy I did. Hopefully like my bag I’ll never have to use it. The material seems sturdier than a normal emergency blanket, paracord is included, and it comes in a nice case. Only weighs a few ounces. Sure, it’s nothing but a tube of Mylar, but it’ll do the trick if called on. It’s not a tent, but heck, many through hikers sleep under a tarp, so it’ll provide reasonable protection from the elements if set up properly. Durability will of course be an issue if used often, but I hope to never use it. Overall a good buy and worth a few bucks more than generics.

Light, Compact, and Surprisingly Durable – Great for Emergency Kits
I added this to my hiking pack as an emergency backup and was seriously impressed with how tough it actually is. It’s super lightweight and packs down small, so it doesn’t take up much space—perfect for ultralight gear setups or bug-out bags. Set-up was quick with the included paracord, and it held up well during a cold, windy night. Definitely not something I’d use for luxury camping, but for emergency shelter or survival situations, it’s a great thing to have on hand. The reflective material also adds warmth and visibility. Feels like a solid piece of insurance to have on any outdoor adventure. Great quality for the price and peace of mind.

Will keep you dry!
It is what is and is good for the price. Like all mylar tents and blankets it is rather fragile. It can and will tear easily. It's wide and long enough for two with one end closed off. Depending on actual weather conditions it may not keep you warm, but it will keep you dray and can help keep you alive!!! I would recommend adding 4 pieces of duct or gorilla tape that are 6" x1" and 4 small tent stakes. This will help anchor the floor more easily.

Perfect emergency tent
I got this to put in my hiking bag in case we get stranded or stuck while hiking and need an overnight shelter. It is small, and easily portable. The mylar material of the tent is lightweight but feels durable, so I feel confident it could shelter us appropriately in an emergency situation as long as it's not hurricane conditions or something. Very happy with my purchase!

The final item for your kit.
I just received this and in order to fully review it I would have to use it. But I hope that I never have to. The packed size seems adequate to me, about 6 - 1/2” tall, 2 - 1/2” diameter. I slipped in six HikeMax 6.3” titanium tent stakes and it hardly added any extra size or weight. Without fully removing the tent, I viewed and felt the texture and I am more than satisfied. The 2022 review in French complains about “holes” in theirs. I carry a tiny roll of duct tape that would solve that if is possibly true. I also carry a contractors trash bag which might serve as a door if needed. I am very pleased with this item and the extra piece of mind it provides.

A good idea held back by a few issues.
I decided to try this tent out as I have needed a basic tent to store in my hiking bag. The tent itself is nice and does a good job providing shade during the day and heat during the evening. It has 2 issues however. The first issue is that you need to be next to trees to use it. It comes with some cord to hold it up but you need to be by trees to anchor it. This is a pain as many spots in my area don't have trees close enough together to use the cord effectively. The other issue stems from one of the reasons I bought it in the first place, how it's packaged. It comes in a small draw string bag which is great when you're looking to store it in small spaces but I find that when you go to roll the tent back up and store it, it becomes a real pain. I want to love this idea but with these issues it's hard to. 7/10

The size isn’t remotely as small as in the pictures. It doesn’t feel super lightweight either.
