The stand will slide down even when the knobs are properly tighten.From the looks of it seems that another reviewer (WY) had the same problem back in 2015. From the response I got it seems that he got a "demo" unit for a CV5 that wasn't meant to get into the hands of consumer.However, as of 26/02/2019, I am experiencing the same problem.I returned the product.Edit: Ordered another unit and the height adjust rails don't slide down on this one

Un ottimo stand. Solido (tutte le sue parti sono in metallo) e stabile anche se esteso al massimo della sua capacità.Il look è minimale e si riesce a configurarlo comodamente, anche con il Mac già appoggiato sopra.Confrontato con uno stand UDG molto simile (non ricordo il modello) risulta essere più stabile e da un’impressione di solidità maggiore (i pesi sono simili).Si trasporta con la sua valigetta o può essere stivato senza problemi anche in uno zaino di piccole dimensioni.Vale la pena comprarlo!!!!

Poor design.The geared teeth for the laptop tray adjustment will definitely wear down due to use. I own the original crane stand and after 1000 plus gigs in finally started to fail but this elevate crane is garbage. Why can't they make a good stand out there. I don't like the magma or ugly stand we the dis need better options

I use this stand in a professional use case and it works perfectly and as expected. I highly recommend this item and would recommend to my friends.

Great stand. Highly recommended. Very solid, robust even. A little awkward to set up but you get used to it. Prefer this to the Crane CV3-PLS. Worth the extra cost.

This was the third stand I bought. I have a 17.3 inch laptop and the other stands that were more expensive would wiggle from the weight. This stand is solid and I am confident it can handle the weight.

This is perfect to hold my Pioneer RMX-500! Not sure I'd go with anything much heavier though. A light duties pro: 5 STARS!

So I was looking at standup desks for my laptop and at the same time, wanted to be able to accommodate my musical gear. This is a very simple product but also very well designed and sturdy. The height is adjustable and due to this, I am able to configure it so that I can use my laptop , with a keyboard below and all is harmonious. I've used the Ergo workstation for standing work, and for me this is much better because I can use the touchpad. I put pressure on the stand with the palms of my hand, but it has a nice little flexy bounce, it gives just a little bit which makes it very comfortable. At the same time it is also very stable. My only wish is that I can pivot and turn it.

First, a warning that this stand is too big for the 13" Macbook. The back of the laptop does not reach the rubber padding, therefore it gets scratched up. Reasonably stable, although not well made, as one of the adjustable legs quickly became stripped and no longer tightens. Also, one of the rubber edges keeps sliding off. Does the job, but there are probably better stands for half the price.
