This product was simple and easy to use. I have a tabby cat and as much as I love him he loves to wrack havoc on my couch. It wasn’t within my budget to get a new couch so I was advised to find a simple and good restoration kit. Found this kit on amazon and decided to try it out. I am very happy that I did. When I received the kit I saw that everything was in order. The instructions to use it were very clear and it had all the colors needed to match anything and everything. I was able to restore my couch and it looks good as new now. My cat will no longer be able to damage it but if he does I have this effecctive restoration kit on hand. Will definitely buy again. Things needed to know; product is excellent, durable and simple to use.

This product looked like a perfect fit for the repair of a rip in our leather couch. Worked as advertised for installation. After about a week, the corners started lifting. (Yes, I rounded the corners before installing them). Now, the adhesive is dried up on the corners and no way to reapply them without using over the counter rubber cement. Improve the adhesive and this product would get 5 stars from me.

Ruined my leather interior of my car!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! If its an old BLACK ONLY couch go for it, but the paints dry up FAST, the instructions are ridiculous, couldn't match the color (cream) with their instructions. Waste of time and money. DO NOT RECOMMEND

First keep in mind, this kit is for SMALL holes. My two were each less than 1 inch long and 1/4 wide. There is not enough material in this kit for a large hole.Overall this product did what it was supposed to do. I have to small holes in my leather seat. I was able to secure the perimeters of the holes by gluing the backing behind them. Using the glue, then filled the holes to reduce their overall depth. The color chart and recipes got me close enough to my color that I could adjust on my own to make it match. This was surprisingly easy to do, as long as you pay attention to their recommendation of how much of each color to use.The only issue I had was with the grain paper. Its not supposed to stick to the colored filler when you cure it with heat, but it does. It pulled my patching apart three times when removing the grain paper, so I gave up on grain. Just spread the color fill smoothly over the area's and cured with a hair dryer. This was satisfactory for the location of my holes.One complain is that the white mix in my kit was rather dry, compared to the others. It took quite a bit of cutting and mixing to smooth it out and get it to mix evenly.So, if you've got a small hole or two to fix, this kit will do the trick.

This is the best money I have ever spent. It is so helpful and it really impressed me. It came in handy right away and I could not be more thankful. I recommend this product to everyone, it is worth every single penny. My daughter scratched my furniture in a very visible spot and this restoration leather kit made the repair blend in perfectly.

Pretty disappointed. The one color you need to mix with everything, black, arrives almost completely dry. Limits my use of all the other colors. Not real thrilled with this product

Kit obviously put together by someone who has restored vinyl before and that is why it is all the more disappointing.Cons: far far too little black, brown and white. I used up the brown and didn't touch the green ( mix red and blue? ) yellow or blue. The tamping tool is completely ineffective with no ability to retain heat. It is really wonderful to have included grain paper, but the swatches are so small, 2x2 as to be essentially useless for cuts. The entire kit is is pretty much one time use and has economized on every step possible. I hope the vinyl is durable, but this does not inspire confidence.It's a one time use affair, and pretty terrible considering what they could have done.Pro: the shaping tool is pretty good for what it is.You can get good results if you know what you're doing, but if you know what you're doing you will never buy this kit again.Include multiple spatulas and mixing bowlsMore brown, black and whiteBigger and more pieces of backing paperClear transparency paper for matching colorMuch better tamping tool or soldering iron attachment.I could use the kit again, but would neither recommend it not buy it. It's like putting in hems with a hotel sewing kit.

This restoration works well on colored leather and vinyl. There’s even a good mixing chart to get as close to the color as possible. There is easy to follow instructions, but it is a process to get the perfect finish. This is a great restoration kit for any kind of cuts in your leather or vinyl.
