First Try On - Excited
I just started rucking (walking with weight) and I first started out with a weighted vest. The vest is cool. The weight distributes decently around me, but the opening between the vest straps is a bit small for me. I have to take off my glasses to get my head through (I have a big head, ex offensive lineman). It was a good introduction into rucking. I started out with 5 lbs then quickly moved up to 25 lbs because I weigh 300 lbs and 25 lbs is about 8% of my current body weight, which I've seen as a recommendation to start at. It showed me that I like rucking and this looks like it will be a lifetime activity for me.Then after a few days of rucking at 25lbs, that small opening became more pronounced and noticeable in a bad way. It began to rub both sides of my neck and hang real heavy on my shoulders. So I switched to a book bag filled with 10 of the 2.5 lb weights from the vest. There was no longer rubbing on my neck and there was less pressure on my shoulders. However, the weight was very uneven and low on my back causing me to have to lean forward a lot to balance it all out. This leaning caused more pressure on my lower back. I was fighting the weight the entire rucking session. Yet again, my neck and shoulders felt good. So overall, a slight improvement with the book bag and loose weight.Next, I received this rucksack along with a 30 lb ruck plate (purchased separately) today. ..... 🤯 ...... WOW! As soon as I tried it on, I was ready to go rucking. But it is 1:30 am and I'm freshly showered, so it's a bit too late for me for rucking. This bag gives me everything I was looking for. Space around my large neck, the ruck plate is one flat piece which allows for much better weight distribution, the bag sits high on my back which allows me much better posture when I walk that results in less pressure on my lower back. I mean this bag and plate is awesome. I see why people pay hundreds of dollars for rucksacks. I mean I've seen them go anywhere from $120 to $330. But this one was $45. Simply Wonderful. So if this rucksack holds up for a while, it is a bargain. I'm looking forward to the rucking session tomorrow.

VERY COOL!
I was looking for a small backpack to have as a Get Home Daddy bag for my truck. This one fit the bill! It has plenty of room for basics and rides in the perfect spot on my back for a balanced carry. I take it on hikes. Lots of Molle loops for extras. Definitely a great purchase!

Great minimalist pack.
I use this as a work bag. Fits a 14” laptop and some essentials perfectly. Can be a little tight but I added a few pouches on the outside and it's great. Especially the Molle water bottle holder I got that is minimalist with shock cords.

Looks rugged but mine fell apart quickly
Bottom started to split, I am glad I caught it before the weight I had inside fell out on my heels. This backpack might be fine for light equipment but I would not load weights or carry anything heavy with it.
