When both metal plates are there it provides excellent hold onto the magnet with no slipping
Very impressed. You do have to use both metal plate to get it to stick though. I put the rectangle metal plate behind the plastic cover of my phone and then put the circle sticky metal plate on the back part of my case so it directly stick to the magnet. When both metal plates are there it provides excellent hold onto the magnet with no slipping. But of all the car phone holders that I have tried between the dash board, window suction and air vent holders nothing works. They all suck. This one does the job!
