Shades of Color The Obama Years 2018 African American Calendar, 12" x 12" (18OB)

Just received this calendar (yes, I realize it’s almost March 2019, but with the shenanigans going on with black folks during this Black History month, I felt the need to get some positive Black mentions to feed my soul!) This is a BEAUTIFUL calendar, and here’s why:1. The best part of this calendar are of course, the pics themselves; they are very nice (they remind me of vivid, but not glossy, comic book pictures).2. The second best part of this calendar is the notable African-American trivia included on most of the days for each month. These are great for ALL YEAR ROUND, not just during Black History month.3. The size of the calendar is fantastic for those of us who need a little help seeing! The numbers are bold, so you can see them at a distance.4. Finally, I really like that It comes in a large “envelope” (see 1st two pics which show the BACK of the envelope & the last pic which shows the front of envelope). The envelope has the front/back of calendar. For those who like to recycle, I think this envelope would be great to store papers or even these pics once the 2019 year has passed (I’m a teacher, so these images are great to save).I’m looking forward to enjoying this calendar and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Love it! One of my favorite artists! Hung them in 12x12 frames!

This calendar is very well made and the paintings are absolutely vibrant and gorgeous. It gives the feeling that the children are silently communicating directly with me! It contains a great selection of colorful paintings printed on quality paper. Well worth the cost and it is very obvious that Dora Alis invested a ton of love and extremely hard work into the making of her product. A perfect gift for everyone. Here's hoping Dora will produce a similar one each year going forward. Thank you Dora for such a BEAUTIFUL product!

These calendars our wonderful. They're just as nice as the ones I got last year's love the hell out of them. Very well Illustrated pictures of beautiful as long as you keep making them we will keep buying them we love Barack Obama and his family

Wow-So many impowering African American facts! Beautiful artwork and lots of African American people who've impacted our race and the country in such profound and positive ways. Things they never taught us in Texas schools, or any other, for that matter. Current through President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. I'm already looking forward to next year's calendar.

I love the artwork in these "I Am" calendars. I've been buying the Gbaby "I Am" collection calendar for 2 years, going on 3 years. Each calendar month used to have "I Am...(statement)" included in the artwork. Just missing the variety of statements/affirmations on each calendar month for the 2022 collection unfortunately.

I am totally pleased with how beautiful this calendar is in person. The attention to detail is really awe inspiring. Not only do you get the stories of the people who is advertised on the back but you also get an additional person/life story that goes with the theme of the month. I won’t ruin surprise of who else is showcased but it’s definitely worth your money. The professional quality is truly appreciated. You can tell this is a work of love. This is THE black calendar to get.

I have been buying this Calendar for the past three year. The monthly quotes are so up lifting and makes me think about things that need to change in my life, I just need to do it.Please keep up the nice work.
