Smart enough to install a simple gate without directions? Don’t try it like I did. There’s a zip tie with a tag that says “Do not remove the zip tie until installation is complete,” also says the same thing on the outside of the box and of course I never read that far and cut the zip tie. Thankfully, this company knows you’re in too big of a hurry to read the directions first and sent along a spare zip tie. You can do it without, but it does make it easier. The design is not necessarily intuitive but when you understand the directions, it all makes sense. For example, the threaded rods don’t actually thread into the gate like I assumed they would; however, in my mind, this actually makes it easier to install with the proper tension. Pros: Sleek design. Reasonable price for the style it is. Seems sturdy enough, although I’m using it for a small toddler, not a big dog. Unlike my old gate, this one has no good foothold for babies who love to climb! Safety latch at the bottom of the gate provide extra strength. Will close automatically, but will also stay open if you swing it past center. Cons: I wish it would automatically engage the latch at the bottom, but I know that would mean a higher price point and more moving pieces to malfunction...

For the price and stability can’t be beat. Works well with easy set up. Fits my doors and stairs perfectly. Doesn’t move and is very stable. The kids and dogs cannot get by. I love that there is a door to pass through. Color is very black and classy and not easily scratched. I have 2 already.

Been using this gate for several months to keep my dogs separated during the day when I’m not home. My boys are young and definitely push boundaries, I was afraid they would try and be able to push through it by knocking it out of place but it’s super sturdy and has never budged. It’s pretty easy to install and use—we didn’t even screw it in place, we are just using the tension knobs. The only complaint I have is that you have to step over the bottom edge which is a big tripping hazard, but I think it’s unavoidable in the design of these gates. Just something to note. Very pleased! Price was good, fit is great, and it even blends into my stair railings.

It works and was easy to install. I do find it flimsy compared to other gates I've purchased. And one feature I missed when ordering it is the lack of an auto-close feature. This opens and stays wherever you leave it. I bought it to keep the dogs from going upstairs. Now they wait and hope I forgot to close it. Which guests frequently do. The others I have all close automatically. A few pluses * easy to open. I have others that are more difficult. * opens in both directions - useful when putting against stairs. The hinge can go either side and still opens. * looks nice

Great solid and sturdy baby gate. Have had it over 2 years and it’s still installed and working.

I bought and used this for a dog to keep her out of a room. It was somewhat east to set up and door latch is easy to use. I have no complaints.

Super easy to use and sturdy when installed. We use this for our overly excited dogs. Gives us and visitors a peaceful entrance. Now to work on better dog training!

En mi caso la utilizamos para evitar que los perritos se salgan cuando abrimos la puerta principal, funciona bastante bien para esto. Tenemos una chihuahua y mi temor era que pudiera caber entre barrotes, cosa que no sucede ya que el espacio entre barrotes es de 7 cm. El gran diferenciador es el color ya que hay otras alternativas más económicas pero no en color negro, mi puerta es café oscuro por lo que el blanco no es opción, el negro se pierde un poco por lo que es más discreta.

El producto llegó en el tiempo previsto y en excelentes condiciones, la instalación fue relativamente fácil aunque no traía instrucciones, sólo las indicaciones generales en la caja del empaque, tomó cerca de 15 minutos. Una vez instalada es bastante firme, me parece que cumple la función muy bien y se ve más seguras que otras opciones con las que la comparé antes de realizar la compra.

Quedo perfecta y muy bonita

Había probado anteriormente otras puertas, pero aplicaban demasiada presión contra el vidrio y temía qué lo rompiera, esta quedo excelente sin poner en peligrosa el cristal.
