Very sturdy. Folds away when not needed. Great product
I used a pair of these on either side of the toilet for my elderly dad to be able to lift himself. He's 240lbs. The one on the right is also closer to the shower, so he can use it from in there. They look nice, great value, easy to install,

Failed county inspecction
Rail is wobbly and moves side to side. Needs more support. County inspector failed it in bathroom renovation. Promising but not safe.

Stability could be better, but quality of article is excellent.
I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 due to the design of the mounting bracket, though this does seem a bit unfair (see below). Otherwise. the quality of manufacture and use , is as would be expected. For a residential wood framed home there is no option or mounting configuration / holes that allow for spanning across more than one stud. This is really less a failure of the device, than something you should understand before buying one of these since they are not cheap. If you are going to mount this on wood studs the mounting bracket really only allows for drywall anchors and one stud access in a vertical line - this allows for horizontal movement and a sense of instability - even though I used 5 inch fasteners through the studs and it isnt going anywhaere - thre is side to side motion. Drywall anchors are inappropriate for this, even 1225 pound anchors eventually loosened. The only way this could fix that is to have a mounting plate option that extended 16-24 inches wide, and this is not really appropriate and would be price prohibitive I expect. However, a workaround is mounting it first to a structural wooden plate that does cross multiple studs - but again this becomes fairly cumbersome. As a result, I would be cautious if using for a residential wood frame install.

Great bar
Very handy, installed between toilet and shower so it has a dual use. We installed during a bathroom renovation and down to studs and put in a bigger support board to install into to and we used longer screws than what is provided.

safety
it is mounted next to my bed and allows me to safely get out of bed.

Looks good from a distance….
The biggest issue is the bar was welded crooked so despite the plate being level, the bar is off. The hardware that is used to install is garbage. Ended up using toggle bolts.
