Flying Saucer Running Plate X-Large made of steel for Chinchillas & Degus

My chinchillas love this wheel, it took all of about 5 minutes for them to work out how to use it, and now they are on it all the time. I also love the fact i know their little spines wont be hurting from bending the wrong way like they would on a wheel. Awsome product, very happy chinchillas. Its also highly amusing to watch them running!

Bought this for rats 3 months ago...while initially i couldnt be happier its great size looks built to last for years pricey but i was prepared to pay it for something durable and more ergonomic for my rats....however its just broke...the saucer has come away from the base it wont go back on properly and now screeches and squeeks and rattles like mad.....for the price i payed i hoped it would at least make a year if not a couple of years....i needed to buy more for additional groups of rats but i dont think i will as much as its a better size and the rats enjoy it for the price its not worth it for three months use...very sadly dissapointed with something i once loved

My chinchillas have never had a wheel like this so I was worried they wouldn't use it but they love it! One never used the old wheel but now she's on it all the time. Took just a few days for delivery.. fantastic service thank you! Highly recommended

I bought two of these saucers...one each for my chinchillas. Purchased at different times and both of them have broken!! I have managed to kind of 'fix' them over the past few years with super glue and other bits but Im getting sick to death with having to do this!! Considering I paid about £50 each for them, they should be made more sturdy!! Has anyone found a way to repair these....or has anyone purchased any attachments to repair them?? I would be extremely grateful for your help!! Steph Giles

At first, I thought this was excellent, the chinchillas always used it and it was silent for a while until it started squeaking loudly. I put the saucer on the top level of their cage when I first bought it, away from food, their dust bath, anything that would create dust particles and damage it, but it didn’t work. Anyway, a few months later with daily use front he chinchillas, the disk worked its way off the stand. My husband who is a good handy man, tried to fix it but he couldn’t. We tried looking for instructions on the internet, but the closest thing we found was a website in German and we couldn’t understand it.Anyway, because it was so expensive it was hard to stomach and admit defeat, so I bought another wheel but from an English company which makes them to order and it’s excellent, I wish I had bought this one in the first place. I have had it for 3 months now and not a sound despite the chinchillas chewing it, sitting on top of it and pushing their way behind it. I bought a metal one from tic tac wheels tictacwheels.co.uk . If you have chinchillas you will need their biggest size, any smaller and they can damage their spine running on it.

My chinchilla loves the wheel but several times his running has caused the wheel to come away from the base - it will now no longer screw back on properly and wobbles considerably when he is on it, making it really, really, loud.

My chinchilla LOVES this. It took me several days to find a wheel large enough and not plastic for chins, also very well priced. This wheel is perfect if you want a wheel for your chin. Perfect size and the fact it's steel is even better. Can't rave about it enough.

Acheté pour mes octodons, bien solide, jolie et silencieuse. Le diamètre est immense, plusieurs octodons peuvent être dessus en même temps.

We hebben dit loopwiel inmiddels een tijdje. Helaas staat ie al een aantal wkn aan de zijlijn. 1 van mijn chinchilla's is helemaal gek op dit loopwiel en loopt er dus met grote regelmaat op. Deze is al een keer losser gedraaid tijdens het lopen. Minn man heeft m proberen te maken. Nadat dit was gelukt heeft ie een wk of 2 in de kooi gestaan. Helaas istie tijdens het gebruik weer losgedraaid. Sindsdien ook nog niet terug in de kooi gezet. Jammer want het wiel kost best wel wat.

Top Laufteller,super gelagert--Endlich mal eine "Scheibe",die auch wirklich gut verarbeitet ist und super Leise noch dazu.Zwar nicht grad billig,aber echt sein Geld wert!! Super Standfest und wandert auch nicht,wenn mehrere Tiere sich drauf befinden.Für meine 4 Degus (die schon mehrere Holzräder und Holzscheiben zerlegt haben) echt "Der Funpark" überhaupt.Wenn du zu wenig Geld hast--Kauf dir direkt diesen Lauf-Teller,,das spart ne menge Euros ;)) Mittlerweile habe ich diesen Laufteller einige Jahre mit immer noch ersten den Lagersatz.Lediglich alle 2 Wochen etwas Bioöl ans Lager..fertig. Um ein lockern des Lagers zu vermeiden,direkt die obere Schraube mit Gewindesicherungslack versehen und die untere Plastikscheibe mit einen Tropfen Sekundenkleber gegen lösen sichern,dann hält alles JAHRELANG,was will man mehr ? :) Ich habe über 10 Jahre schon Nagetiere und geschätzte 10 Laufräder/teller und Co.durch,die meine possierlichen Degus wirklich zerlegt haben. Daher würde ich diesen Teller immer wieder kaufen und kann ihn auch bedenkenlos JEDEM empfehlen,BG Krebs

Kreeg hem snel binnen maar het wiel is compleet gebogen en niet zoals op de foto, heel jammer.

Acheté pour mettre dans la cage d'un chinchilla.Bon produit, mais déçu par son poids. J'ai pensé que la roue sera plus lourde. Elle ne fait que 1.7 kg, si je me rappelle biens. Donc faut de son poids, elle glisse un peu dans la cage... donc touche au autres objets et fait le bruit en les touchant. Sinon quand bien placé, la roue est assez silencieuse.
