AcuRite Portable Digital Thermometer for Indoor or Outdoor Temperature with Carabiner Clip (00333)

This works great. It is sooooo handy. I particularly like that it will show what the lowest temp was in the previous 24 hours.

Purchased to verify temps while out sitting in the cold while hunting. Trying to determine correct gear for temperature ranges. The weather forecast isn't accurate enough and this thermometer proves it. So far working well. Don't place it in direct sunlight. If you need to power this OFF just pull the battery holder out slightly. Good to know that the min/max is on a 24hr timer so it will record low at the time you power up the device and reset at that time every 24hrs. I was puzzled at first why the min was so high but that was because I powered it on in the afternoon.

I was hoping the thermometer was a bit smaller. Looks like its just a retrofit job. the battery latch is very loose and sometimes it turns off. The positive side to its large size is the readability but id looks funny hanging on my backpack.

After removing the protective film from the screen and the plastic insulator tab to activate the battery, the screen remained blank. I then removed and replaced the supplied battery with another CR-2032 battery, but still nothing. This item was purchased to replace my AcuRite weather station, which has stopped showing the outdoor temperature and humidity, despite having new batteries. I doubt I'll be buying anything more from AcuRite (now known to me as AcuWrong).

We have it attached to the glass on the outside glass of our patio and it works well. It's been there about a month and has remained attached. I you have it in a location with a long drop you want to secure it with a piece of string, just in case.

The battery department comes unclosed. Had to tape closed,Not an instant read. Does give temperature. Great other than that. I've always thought of acurite for having good products.

Works great. we use this in our dog trolly at the dog shows to make sure the temperature is within range. Easy to read.
