Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Ascendancy (Jason Bourne Book 12)

The Bourne novels are always thrilling reads

The ever lasting Jason Bourne is back. A little confusing at times but worth the 4 star rating. We await the next to see how he progresses.

I read this book and love how each new book builds on the last book and builds upon the previous plot which then gives us another incite into the complex complex life of Jason Bourne; yet but still does not tell us who he was before he became Jason Bourne of the Treadstone program. Read it, however you will not understand fully unless you read all the books before. The author builds on writing's of the creator of Bourne Robert Ludrum, Eric Van Lustbader has taken over the mantle and given us novels which creates tension and excitement and far better than the films.

What can I say.I have watched all five of the Bourne films and as good as they were,can never reach into the mind or imaginings of a fertile imagination.I still have two books to go on this epic twelve book saga and look forward to them like one who has been given a gift and is waiting to unwrap its contents.I shall be sorry when the story ends,my thanks to Robert Ludlum and the other authors for keeping me enthralled.

There is a consistent quality to the Jason Bourne books and this one certainly attains that.Full of the twists and turns that you expect, this is an excellent edge of your seat read.Bourne regularly gets himself into serious situations and then turns it into something else often to his eventual advantage.I do not know how many more books there will be in the series, but rest assured I will read them all.For me, there are few better thrillers available and even less with a pedigree this good and consistent.

If you enjoyed the films, get into these books! The author does a great job of continuing the saga of one of the most intriguing spy related heroes literature has ever given us

I thought I had read the last of these and was looking for a holiday read. All the usual stuff applies and the storyline is great. Some interesting thought provoking material in there too. Does the job admirably

Cultural context was so prescient that it foretold actual Middle Eastern events. Only a regional expert word be able to write this kind of material... and make it readable in a novel!
