I like this butter dish it's very very nice. Looks great. Cleans good.

This looks very nice very old traditional style. It seems to be well made but as others have said there is a slight "wobble" in that the top lid doesnt sit flush. This is because the bottom tray curves upwards as you can see in the photos so its not really possible. On mine the wobble is very slight so its really hard to notice I probably wouldnt have if it wasnt for reading the reviews here. Other than that yes, its not really fit for a full size UK butter but I dont think any are. I have another butter dish that doesnt fit I just use a very simple method of cutting the butter in half length ways and it fits fine so no big issue there either. Its very well priced in my opinion and I love how it looks so I dont see any reason to knock a star off for anything.

Love it, like the reviews say it doesn't fit a whole 250g butter block, but who wants to put it all in at once anyway... Half and half again is fine by me!

Size is all wrong, I had to chopp my butter to get it in.doesn t fit any normal size butter. Not thoughthful at all.design it s pretty. Not recommend.

I have no problem in repeating the praise of this item given by other purchasers in terms of quality and attractiveness, however I was very disappointed to discover that the lid is too small to cover a standard 250g pat of butter without cutting the height down by half because the sides of the lid slope inwards. Had I known this, I would have chosen something that is large enough.

First I wanted buy just regular white butter dish but then I saw this one, so I bought it and I’m glad i did. It’s really nice piece, colors are bright, size is perfect, arrived so fast. It looks so nice on table, I love it!!

Schöne Butterdose. Zwar passt nicht eine Packung 250g Butter aber es stört mich nicht. Passt zu bestellten Müslischüssel und auf dem Frühstück-Tisch sieht toll aus.
