Marked improvement with a minimum of effort
My car has not had more than a drive through wash since I bought it 7ish years ago. There is accumulated grime along the "seams," and that is what I had in mind when I ordered this product. The basic instructions on the bottle are make sure the surface is cool and wet it, if possible. Apply the spray liberally. Allow several minutes of dwell time. Agitate with a soft brush. Rinse with clean water. Here is my minimum effort process: Choose a spot on the shaded side of the car. Pour some water on it from a water bottle that's been sitting around. Apply spray. Walk away and try to find online what number bulb to replace burned out headlight with. Rummage around in the garage for a new bulb. Declare victory at finding the stash of new bulbs that are not at all where I would look for them first (because they didn't fit in that box, of course). Change burned out bulb without touching the outside of the car which is HOT from sitting in the sun all day. Get reminded how dirty the process of changing the headlight bulb is. Use a wipe from the inside of the car to scrub off (spread around) as much of the grease as possible. Grab a paper towel (because digging around for a soft bristled brush to use on the car is just not happening today). Wipe at the foam which has run all the way down to the wheel well. Rub at the residual grime to see if it will come off with the paper towel. Call it a day because it looks better, and better is good. Grab a couple more water bottles to rinse off the foam/suds.Conclusion: I'm impressed with how well the product worked when I wasn't even trying. I do think that a brush would have been more effective against the leftover grime than the paper towel, and I will definitely employ that when I clean the car for real. The instructions on the bottle did say that multiple applications might be necessary for stubborn contamination, and I would say my car's grime qualifies. The product is definitely foamy, but it was runnier than I expected. It stuck well, though, and during rinsing I could tell that it was very soapy. It took more water than I expected to get all of the residue, so I definitely recommend using a hose to rinse, although the (2) water bottles worked for the test. I'd say I used about 6 sprays for a testing area of about 12 inches. The bottle is still full, so I should have plenty for the rest of the trouble areas on the car. The last thing I will mention is that this stuff smells GREAT. Like something I'd want to drink, which could be a bad thing around small kids. Bottom line - results may vary depending on your situation, but I think this product is definitely worth a try.

Works great
I could do without the citrus scent but it works great on the mowers when we’re cleaning them up for end of season. Also on the Tacoma.

Ok product
This product is good for cleaning however if you are using it on anything white it tends to stain.

Degreaser spray that works great on metals
Adam's Citrus Degreaser worked well. I decided to test it out on some stubborn cooking residues on the chrome and brushed aluminum trim of my home's 1960s Flare range. It's not an engine, but it's a stacked dual oven and range unit that tends to collect cooking oils over time. The degreaser foam and a few minutes of soaking mobilized as much as other oil eater degreaser I've used in the past. The citrus/cherry smell wise pleasant enough to use inside. It took me several minutes to figure out the spray options given there's a rotational on-off component and a flip-away foaming mesh that's optional. I figure that the foaming action helps to allow the coverage to persist a bit longer than a liquid that might just run off. The bottle was sent with a solid, simple cap that helps prevent leaks and the sprayer is included, which is a great way to send it.

cleans well
This cleaner has been working pretty well to clean up around the garage. It's able to clean up oily messes. I like the orange scent it has too. No issues with getting it on my hands or with it leaving residue behind. The foaming sprayer is a lot nicer than a regular stream sprayer too.
