1950s throwback
The reason I purchased this radio. Is it’s look and price. Did not expect it to be much good. I am pleased to announce it is a very good radio. It reminds me of my youth the radios that were available the sound is pleasant. I can sit down and listen to this radio for hours. Surprisingly sensitive on all three bands. The FM band has big full sound. AM has a nice sound. And I can pick up all of the stations. That are local SW. at night you can pick up quite a few stations. With the whip antenna to me that is amazing for such an inexpensive radio. You can pick up a lot of stations on FM also. The radio isn’t a DXing powerhouse. But it holds its own. Now what I don’t like. The tuning knob is hard to work with easy to miss stations. The knob on the front of the radio is the volume knob. That should have been the tuning knob. Instead of the thumb wheel knob on the side. That would make more sense. And easier to work the radio. You can use a Nokia battery to power the radio. And you can recharge that battery but you can power it with three triple a battery’s also. That is nice. I don’t know if you can charge those triple a battery’s. This radio has the ability to use usb and tf cards. Which is great. For under ten bucks. You can’t go wrong you can give this radio to kids for presents. Then they can learn about radio. Even shortwave. This is a fun radio. I give it a a

Fun quirky little radio!
First, you have to set your expectations low. This is an $8.98 radio. It’s chintzy. Once you’re past that, it’s actually a relatively decent radio.Sound plays loud with ok sound quality. Bluetooth works very well to stream music from a smartphone. The radio part is DSP so it does a good job of pulling in stations and holding them drift free on FM. I do not listen to AM so I can’t comment.Haven’t tried SW (shortwave) yet but I’m assuming I’ll pick up very little…as with all of my small pocket radios with SW.I like how the battery compartment holds 3AAA or a rechargeable BL5C rechargeable (I’m using the latter and it works great). To be honest, I love the cheap Christmas Cracker build quality and the overall cheap aesthetic. You will never mistake this for a Panasonic or a Sony. But with lowered expectations, It’s a fun little radio. It’s very feature rich for an impossibly low price. I would definitely buy it again.

Pocket Radio
Love this little radio. Perfect size for my needs. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Picks up the stations I want to listen to. Worth the price.

Did not work out the box
Never had a product bought from amazon before that didn't work at all. The radio has a am/fm/sw function plus a usb port all of which doesn't work. Its supposed to be powered by 3 AAA batterys but it doesn't. It also says it works with lithium battery that you can also buy which i did and it also will not work with it. So i guess if i want to listen to the airways, i will have to listen to the air in my own head instead of that provided by this non-working brick.

A good one.
A good radio. I bought it with 2, 1020mah batteries. Out of the box the battery lasted a little over 19 hrs. An overnight charge at 8 hrs. Play it on low in the background. Run it between about 5-8 hrs. a day. Battery lasted a little over 27 hrs. I did not use 3aaa to play it. The headphones worked well. I did not test the other stuff the radio comes with. I like it it's a good one.

Se mira muy bien
El problema es que no es recargable , necesita baterías y no funciona el puerto de la usb

Eats Batteries
First the good news about the Wenpbouezeray radio. The case is solid, it pulls in weak stations, it has good sound and speech is very clear, it can produce loud volume with a very easy to use knob..Now the bad news: It uses 3 AAA batteries that will last only around 20 hours at low volume. So, this would be a good radio to play for 5 or 10 minutes a day but not for listening to baseball games over a period of hours. After using this radio for many weeks I have been impressed by how well it holds onto pre-selected stations. Turn on the radio days later and the last station you dialed is perfectly tuned. There is no drift like other analog radios are prone to do.

Amazing Features
I was intrigued that this small radio will also play micro SD (TF) cards and function as a bluetooth speaker. I am using a card with over 400 songs and it works great. Having read the complaints about battery life I picked up a couple of new BL-5C cell phone batteries elsewhere for about $5 each and will test those out. Those batteries were pretty standard on Nokia phones back in the day and I have a universal charger to match them. Actually the ability to power this off the USB mini cable will normally be enough. I now have a small radio that I can use in my workplace to give me some tunes during the day. Outstanding!! UPDATE: A fully charged BL-5C battery got me 9.5 hours of continuous MP3 play from a TF card. The batteries are a perfect fit. UPDATE 2: Been playing it at work on USB power 40+ hours a week for 2 weeks. Very happy!!!
