Best cooking pan I ever had
It is pre-seasoned. It is really a deep pan. a pot with lid for oven or cook top, and the lid as a fryer. I hardly ever use any of my other pans. Quick lesson on seasoning as you go, using the pot without lid in this case. Preheat pot, remember once hot put burner down a bit, it will stay hot for ages. Add tiny amount of oil, just enough to coat the bottom and up the sides a bit, remove excess (I keep a cloth next to the cooker just for this). When the oil is up to temp. you have really already done the seasoning part. Cook/fry what ever you were cooking. For washing up, do not use soaps, soap is made to remove fat, we want to keep that layer. Instead run some warm water into it, use your dish wash sponge to clean it, it is the best nonstick you have ever had. Important, dry it well straight away, some re-season it after cooking, I haven't found a need. Mine is as black and shiny as when I first got it.

Perfect
I make 500gr flour round sourdough loaves and this is the perfect size for baking. Haven't needed to clean it as I of course use a sheet of baking paper under the dough, but wouldn't expect it to perform any different than other cast iron products as it seems high quality. Just make sure to follow instructions for cleaning and maintenance, don't just go in with soap and scrub thinking this is just like any old frying pan. If you do that it will rust. Seals the steam in really well thanks to the heavy lid, so I get great oven spring. It is also so thick that it holds the heat really well when pre-heated. The little ears on the side on both lid and bottom are great as you physically can not accidentally drop one of the parts, you drop both or nothing. Preferably nothing lol. It is VERY heavy, buyer beware, so you have to have a strong back and arms to safely lift it. Hard to comment on value for money as it also sort of depends on budget and what you could 'make do' with in terms of baking vessel, but put it this way; I am really really happy with my purchase and don't think I paid too much at all. There were other similar products that had twice and triple the price tag, but in the end does the same job.

Good quality
Solid and smart using the lid as a separate griddle. The pan is great and heavy. But you must look after it as it is cast iron.

Probably does what it says on the tin, but very heavy.
I am sure this is a very good oven, but far too heavy for me to lift empty. Not sure I could lift it if it had food in it.

Love it
A little getting used to a new routine with the move to cast iron but once you get over the fear of doing it wrong, it's great. Really quality pan, hefty and really holds the heat

Awful and issues after first wash
Awful, never even used it. After the first wash the inside bottom started peeling and loads of surface rust all over the outside. Seems lighter than other cast iron products which might be a warning sign so definitely not worth the money and was sent back for a refund.

its tiny
good for snacks, ok i knew the size but really the cast is so thick it literally is 3 rashers of bacon at a time, tops.
