I love Seth
These are so cool. I bought four - three as gifts and one for me. Anything Seth writes is worth the read and I like the throw back to a desk calendar. Happy reading ahead.

I’m disappointed in Seth!
I was appalled to receive this calendar and find it attached to a big chunk of plastic. After all of Seth’s talk about the environment. After creating the Carbon Almanac. The description even highlights the use of FSC certified paper and soy ink. And states you can reuse the pages for notes or lists. Virtue signaling. And then this useless, wasteful piece of #5, basically unrecyclable plastic attached to something that is single-use.I’m disappointed in you, Seth. You could have done better. I’m calling you out. Poor design. Lazy! Goes against everything you’ve been preaching all this time.

Read the Blog Not the Calendar
I am as close to a "fan boy" of Seth Godin as it comes. I've been reading and following his work for more than 15 years now. I regularly read his blog, listen to his podcast, and have purchased all kinds of extras from him over the years. This was the biggest disappointment. It's basically blog posts reworked and that's it. There's little style to the calendar, nothing specific for dates, and a format that is ill-suited to a calendar. I pre-ordered this in February, 2023 and waited many months to open it and greet the new year with Seth.If you like his work, buy a book or read his daily blog. Don't get this. You'll have little inspiration and, I'd hate to say it, might find yourself getting a little angry. It feels like Seth "mailed this in," and given his philosophy and focus of his work, that stings. He's all about inspiring us to do our best work, put in the effort, and know we might fail -- but also that the world benefits from our effort if we do it with heart. This calendar lacks heart and doesn't appear to show much in the way of effort. This is a profound disappointment, especially after Seth’s latest books and related projects were so good. I don’t know how this one was allowed to go so wrong.
