Mango Butter Organic Unrefined - Use Alone or in DIY Beauty Products, Body Butter, Lip Conditioner, DIY Lotion - 1LB Bar

Even though I hated the plastic packaging this butter came in, I think I got a good product. I usually use shea butter and cocoa butter for my body butter, but someone suggested mango butter and I think this one was a good bargain. No harsh smell or even the chocolate smell you get from cocoa butter, so it is scent friendly. It came in a bar form in a plastic bag, but the texture itself is like crumbly playdough and it melted easily. Like I said, I hated the original packaging so I transferred my butter into an old 16 ounce container I still had and the measurements of the bar are indeed 16 oz.Based on this purchase, I would buy this particular product again... all prejudice against the packaging aside.

I was beyond disappointed when I received this product and went to weigh it on a scale and see that it was not one pound, yet I paid and was charged for a pound. I also purchased other body products online and received them the same day in the mail and there was no problem with the other companies products, yet this one I was ripped off.

Normally buy this mango butter and normally it is a good quailty and smooth butter. I also normally freely give out samples because its such a good product. This last batch i bought is very grainy! Not a good quality at all. Moving on to a better company that has consistent good quality mango butter.

I've been using mango and shea butters all of my life, but just over a year ago switched to only-natural butters skin regimen. I've used mango butter before and this butter has a weird consistency. It's extremely soft as if there's extra chemicals added to it. My skin also wouldn't absorb all of the product. It usually takes a little while with butters BUT this butter literally did the bare minimum. It would just sit on top of my skin, making me all greasy-like. My skin (esp on my shins and forearms) would be tight and dry-ish by the end of the day. My skin is always baby soft and moisturized so that was a first. Conclusion: it's not bad if you need something quick and fast but I wouldn't buy this again.

I bought this as a replacement for shea and cocoa butter in the bath products I make. It works SO great! Way better than shea butter and cocoa butter! I've gotten so many compliments on the products I've started to include this in. The moisture is long lasting without leaving a residue or feeling greasy. It has become a staple in many of my recipes. I will say a little goes a LONG way!!

t did the trick but I don't like how the texture isn't the same as other mango butters. This mango butter was very brittle causing more of a mess than usual when breaking the butter down. It also made my beard products have a rough flaky texture when you rub between your hands. Unlike other mango butters that produce a more smoother texture.

Absolutely love this butter. I mix it with shea butter add essential oils and use it on my face every day. Looks like it would make my skin oily but it doesn't and it also made the big pores on my nose close so that you can hardly see them at all.

This mango butter i was worried that it might melt on the way. Nope, the bag is seal-able and it comes in a clear bag inside the brown bag. I read reviews on butter ... many say that this is a nice adjustment for the chapped lips and or skin or hair issues. so my first DIY project is making chapstick. Woohoo.
