After an hour of trying to put the screws into this cheaply made lamp and cursing buying it in the first place I finally managed 5o get the legs tightened up enough.The base was scratched and dented and the inner packaging smashed to bits and judging by the lava bottle not being full I'm beginning to wonder if this lamp was even new.Four hours in the was is barely warm and certainly isn't blobbing like it should be, there was a metallic pop sound and the lamp went dark and stank of burning. Just awesomeI borrowed the bulb out of my daughter's other lamp and tried this instead but the lava lamp stayed in the dark....and ended up in the garden due to the stink of burning from it.Judging by the purchases of the rocket lamp since I brought mine they're all equally cheap nasty and looking like second hand and defective beginning to wonder why they're still on here for sale.One unhappy little girl with special needs later and further purchase of a better brand at least the smile is back on her face.At least the glitter one works.

I recently bought my oldest sone one of these for his birthday, and he wanted a red one which is great for the price of these lamps.As there's no show without Punch, my youngest also wanted one for HIS birthday, and opted for the blue one. It looks more like purple, and the 'clear' background liquid is cloudy. I wouldn't recommend this colour.

Works fine, but the lava is translucent green and flows very weirdly, it all seems to gather at the top before falling down and is quite bubbly. I also have the purple and red one which works fine. A cool lamp nevertheless.

I said that this was good a few months ago, but 70% of the was has clogged up at the top, solidified and won’t come down, the small amount of was that is left in the bottom refused to do anything. It basically only serves as a tall lamp that gives off eggnog coloured light. I don’t know if it’s something I’ve done, I have it on quite a lot, but it’s only survived 2 months with (in my opinion) moderate usage. I probably wouldn’t buy another one or use this seller again

This is how my delivery arrived! Clearly been previously opened and more than likely been returned. I plugged in the lava lamp to check it worked and the base/stand was scratched and dinted.after been switched on for an hour the lava lamp made a loud bang noise and completely stopped working.in my eyes a previous customer as returned this as been faulty and damaged but the company still thought it was acceptable to send this out. Im glad i opened and fully checked the product whsn it arrived as it was supose to be a christmas gift for my son.

Box arrived badly damaged so can’t give as an Xmas present without it looking like I’ve bought it from a car boot. Took it out to check it and the base is squashed I’ve managed to shape it back so it looks as it should. Will try it out later see if it works properly. supposed to be black and yellow but it’s grey and yellow not a big issue though as will still fit in the Batman style bedroom

In our view and opinion this lava lamp turned out to be a complete waste of money and we would not advise anyone to buy one. We ordered the lava lamp and it arrived on 3rd May 2019 and by 25th May 2019 the bulb 'blew' and the lamp is now broken and unusable. The lava lamp had hardly been used - only for a couple of hours in the evening. Our daughter had saved her pocket money to buy this lava lamp, as she loved the lava lamp her friend had, but now she is left extremely disappointed.

I bought this lava lamp for my son for Christmas he has 3 different colours of lava lamps in his bedroom and he loves all 3 of them.
