I previously had just a regular back seat sling-style cover which after a few years had started to fall apart a bit. I was hesitant to spend so much money on this at first (purchased at the prime price), however the moment I installed it I knew I was silly to have waited so long to try it out! It fits my small car perfectly (Nissan Cube) so should suit any type of car well.This thing is a real game-changer. My previous sling cover would slide around everywhere as dogs got in and out, and so dirt would inevitably still find its way onto the seats underneath. On top of which, it wasn't waterproof, which again isn't ideal! This cover is excellent as it stays firmly in place due to the support pads which really do extend the seat right the way out to the seats in front, so it doesn't move at all and dirt remains on the cover as desired.The material feels really durable and thick, and the padding underneath definitely helps me to feel confident that water from damp fur or any accidents will be kept far away from the seats underneath. You have to install the boards inside the cover yourself and they're separated into 3 pieces, which I guess means that you can fold it away for storage or potentially to open up one or two of the seats if needed. The installation of the boards was a little tricky in parts, but overall it was easy to get it set up. So far, the dogs that have tested it out have seemed very happy being able to use more space in the back, particularly the larger dogs who can now stand and stretch out easily as they like.Overall I would say that although the prime price is still a little steep for what it is, it has already been worth it to me as I'm using my car every day for dogs of all sizes and in all weathers, so knowing that my seats will be more protected and the dogs more comfortable is brilliant.

I wanted a cover for the back seat of my Suzuki swift car as my dog wouldn’t settle being in a carrier in the back seat, this cover is very well made, it's very sturdy, and fits perfectly, I bought a dog seatbelt which works perfectly so she can travel safely in the back and is able to move around I’ve actually lay in the back and it’s held my weight perfect I would highly recommend this cover I bought a 2nd for my husbands car it’s very easy to fit takes less than 5mins to fit in the car, each side can be lifted up if someone needs to sit in the back for travelling 100% satisfaction

I found this product fantastic. My puppy, although restrained with a seatbelt harness, always managed to get in to the footwell of the back seats, even going as far as escaping from her harness. After fitting this today, I was able to drive without the stress of her getting to the floor or trying to get to the front seats. Have only used it today for a 1.5 hour drive so I can't comment on the durability. I also put my dogs blanket in just in case they slid about.

I've always used hammocks for my rotties, what's the point of having a protection dog if there trapped in a crate.I always found old hammocks flimsy and ripped under the rottie weight but made them work to keep car clean.Then I purchased this hammock with a hard base and I absolutely love it! It covers the seats, fits better in the car but most importantly has a hard base extending the back seat outward. My boy Thor loves it and is more comfortable and doesn't rip under his weight!Will never go back to the old style hammocks, hard base all the way for us 😁

Previously we had a hammock which after 6 months our active 35kg mutt had managed to split the seam. This one with the solid seat base is far more stable. Easy to fit with the 3 boards slotted into the base. The only minus is that the previous hammock could be easily converted to a seat cover for passengers whereas this one would have to be removed. Time will tell if it will last longer but I am hopeful!Dog seems happier 🐶
