Previously bought a similar product ( another Brand) to repair another patio chair. This product is easy to use and stretches with just 2 minutes in hot water. Of course you have to work quite quickly, but if you have measured, drilled and popped in the push rivets, it is a reasonably easy task to undertake. The previous product was slightly thicker and thus harder to stretch, so maybe the difference will show in the longevity of this latest product. I double wrapped each end this helps to apply pressure to the push rivet when anyone is sitting in the chair so it is unlikely they will pop out and even if they snapped at the head, being double wrapped should avoid a complete collapse of the cushion support. These chairs originally came with a Textiline canvass cushion support and over time have degraded to a level where they split and the ensuing sight of my bottom disappearing down into the chair frame was definitely a "You have been framed" moment. Out of the reel I managed to get 8 strips of 30.5" 4 each way interwoven. So we have 4 useable chairs again for the garden.

Just what I was looking for to repair a patio set. Easy to work with once heated. Nice color.

After repeated attempts to replace straps on some older chairs …. The strapping would not stretch as explained in YouTube videos….,I was so disappointed ….. the product was to be placed in boiling water and then attached quickly while pliable and wrapped while stretching the strapping….. I wonder if others have had the same issues!
