Surprisingly "Cool"
I admint that I bought this more as a science expirament than for a functional purpose. I wanted to test just how effective they are at moving heat across the pipe and I'm very impressed. I can place one end on an ice cube while holding the other end, and it gets too cold to hold very quickly. I've played with it quite a bit so I know that it's pretty durable.

A fun science toy
This conducts heat (or cold) very rapidly. If you put it in hot water, it will almost burn you. It amazes people by how fast it heats up. I bought it as a science demo toy, but I suppose it could also be used for something useful.
