This brush makes cleaning my BBQ grill easy and due to the spiral stainless steel design; I don't have pieces of wire caught to my grill after cleaning. I purchased the brush because of the fact that I was finding little pieces of wire caught in the grease on my grill (and wanted to make sure that they didn't transfer to my food). What was a great surprise was the discovery that the design of the brush made cleaning a lot more complete. Great product, superior design...by the way if you put water on the brush and clean the grill right after you are finished cooking you'll get a nice "steam cleaning" effect.

This brush replaces a similar appearing wire bristle brush that I used for about a year. I needed to replace the wire bristle brush after it began shedding tiny wires during use. One of those wires got into my chicken. Luckily, it was not swallowed by the person whose chicken piece it was skewered, but I then read about how swallowing a wire can lead to a trip to the emergency room.This brush is designed such that there are no bristles - just a stainless steel wire wound in such a way that it will not shed. The brush takes more time and elbow grease effort to clean the grill. However, given sufficient effort, my Weber grill does get cleaned to my satisfaction.The brush handle is sturdy and seems to stand up to my extra vigorous scrubbing. I also found that its angle to the grill can be varied during the scrubbing so that eventually the surface is cleaned.I am tempted to get another wire brush and use both sequentially, first the wire brush to get the surface really clean, followed by this brush to remove any wayward bristles that came off in the first round.There are other stainless wound brushes like this one available, but they all look to be pretty much the same design.

Decided to purchase this set for my 20 something year old son for Christmas since we bought him a small grill in the Spring. I liked the thickness of the set， seems to be very heavy duty. Plus， since they are stainless steel without rubber or wood handles， he can pop them into the dishwasher without ruining the handles. This was the main reason I bought them - they look like they can take abuse from someone who isn't going to handwash them. Company customer service was awesome - they followed up to be sure I received my set. All in all， a good set for the money. Recommend!

We disposed of this bbq tool after one season. It certainly did the job on the grill. It was very heavy for someone with arthritis in their wrists and was very awkward to handle, causing contact with the skin when fumbled. So sharp, we had to hide it from wind and children.

This thing is so useless it would't clear checkers from a checkerboard. I tried all the suggestions of soaking the bristles in water and scrubbing a heated grill to clean the BBQ and nothing worked. After fighting with the brush and frustration for a month I finally threw it away.

This brush not only works great， but there is no risk of it leaving dangerous steel bristles on the grill or in your food. It is very well made and cleans up my grill nicely. I have a gas Weber grill， with cast-iron grates， and， when used as shown in their how-to video， by dipping in water and cleaning while the grates are hot and the grill is on， it works extremely well.

I bought this brush specifically to prevent little pieces of wire bristles from breaking off and getting into my food. The design of this brush sounds great on paper, but I could never get it to satisfactorily clean the cast-iron grates on my weber grill. It worked ok at best, but I could never seem to remove the little bit of charred food that get stuck in-between the raised parts of the grill plates. I'm reluctantly going back to a bristle brush after giving this one a try.

I know there are some poor reviews as far as cleaning a grill. But if you use it to clean chicken poop of the wood in your coop it is amazing! It gets the dry stuff， the wet stuff， and the stuff that is caked on that you couldn’t get last week. And with the bristle design you don’t have to worry about metal bristles breaking off and your chickens eating them!
