Breathtaking AND Functional
I am surprised no one has reviewed this beautiful yoga mat. Granted, it is a bit pricey so that probably prevents a ton of people from buying it. I'm glad I made the splurge though because this thing is gorgeous enough to use as decor. Actually I am hanging it on the wall in my office with Command picture hanging strips so I can take it down as needed for some much needed mid-day stretching. Talk about functional art!I also love how long this mat is. I'm only 5'6" but I usually find most yoga mats are not long enough for me to fully stretch out on. This one has room to spare. I love that it's made with eco-friendly materials as well. You can tell the cork and rubber are high quality materials - the mat is super heavy and the rubber has great grip on the floor. My *only* wish is that it would be a bit thicker. My office floor is tile so this probably won't provide enough cushion for yoga poses that require I put full weight on my knees. No big deal I'll just keep some cushioning nearby!
