Most ridiculous about this case is its 60$ price. The back part is perfect, better than that of the original case. But the front one is a little bit wider as it accommodates stylus slot at the edge. The latter makes the grip less solid in one's hands. Also the upper case is a bit thicker than original one adding more bulky look, if not feel. It is almost as if one has to make compromise between MagSafe back part, which by the way provides extremely good magnet lock and looks nifty, and the stylus. This is because when I do not need the stylus, I would rather have only MagSafe back part on and remove the front case. Having both back and front cases with a MagSafe wallet on top does make Fold 5 feel like a BigMac.Notable update: MagSafe interferes with writing, causing random dislocation of touching point of the stylus, thickening or other chaotic alternating of lines, which all together makes writing experience cumbersome. Solution to the above issues is to flip the phone by 90 degrees and writing on the other side of the screen with no MagSafe on the back side.

Magsafe charging stops working after few seconds of connection, also the figure print scanner is not accessible easily.

If you've ever looked into custom MagSafe rings for the Fold5, you'll know that the ideal placement for the ring actually intersects the camera housing; it's a mess.As such, the fact that magnet-guided wireless charging and other alignment-sensitive connections work at all via the TORRAS case is a big win: it takes some fiddling sometimes, but it definitely works.The placement of the pen holder is a similar situation: it does fundamentally change the angle at which you're able to access the fingerprint reader when the phone is closed, but it does work very well if you're willing to get used to it.It holds the S Pen Fold Edition securely and comfortably.It's also the case that the case isn't the most rugged near the hinge, but given that this phone is already larger and heavier than most, I'm very pleased nevertheless with how it's helped prevent damage with the bumper-style cushioning for the three and a half months I've been using it so far.You can see in the attached photo that I did eventually end up having the side of the front bumper snap at its thinnest point near the hinge, but like other reviewers, I was pleasantly surprised when I reached out to TORRAS for customer support this late after the initial purchase and very promptly received free replacements with next-day shipping, no strings attached.They definitely seem to stand behind their product, and as a result, I'm very satisfied with my purchase in all respects.It's a very expensive and very finnicky phone, and in my opinion its needs are well-met by the conscious design compromises of this case.

I got this Case when I got my Z fold 5. Case seems very flimsy and I doubt it's ability to protect my phone at all. Definitely not worth the price! The S pen does not fit at all so I have to carry it separately in my purse, backpack or briefcase. I've seen others mention a cover screen protector. I do not have one with mine but don't remember the description saying it does. I bought my screen protectors separately. My S Pen falls out, so for those who say it rattles around, it must be a different version of S-Pen than my Samsung Z fold 5 version. If I had ordered another case, I would have returned this one immediately.So to sum it up, not worth the price, doubt it will protect the phone, won't hold the s pen and the rubber along the outside front cover screen is constantly sliding or flipping out of place. Since mine won't hold my S-Pen , I can't confirm if the S-Pen storage position interferes with the fingerprint sensor but I can see where it would.Spend your hard earned money elswhere !This is not even remotely worth the cost and is a flop when it comes to protection place of mind.

So I have had numerous Torras iPhone cases over the years, and I’ve always been happy with their products. So when I decided to make the switch to the Samsung Z-fold 5, I looked them up. You see, I’m real particular with my cases and I was looking for something that I could use all of my MagSafe products with. So when I got the Torras case I was impressed - soft, grippy, without adhesive and secure.But then, I quickly discovered that my new S pen did not fit inside the S pen holder - it was clear that it would probably fit the Z-fold 4 S pen, but not the new S Pen for the 5. So I contacted the company. I was quickly replied within 24 hours by Alyssa from Torras. She proceeded to tell me that once it became available on August 18, they would ship me an insert they were making available to everybody who purchased the case already to fit the new S pen.So the date comes around, the I get another email from Alyssa. She proceeded to tell me that they were going to take care of all of my concerns and ship out a new version of their Torras case directly to me that fit the new S Pen. Needless to say I was ecstatic for they proved to me once again of their quality and customer support.So the pictures that are attached are the new Torras case. The case fits my S pen snuggly and won’t be coming out until I take it out. When the S pin is in the case there is quite a lip over the fingerprint reader, which is OK. What I’ve also noticed is that there is a remarkable raised lip over the camera lenses as well which I appreciate.When I pre-ordered my phone from Samsung, I decided not to get their S pen case and choose to look elsewhere for better quality. I am so glad I did because I love a Taurus case and believe it is the absolute best case you can buy for the Z-fold 5. I am not sure when the new case will be available to everyone but it has been well worth the money invested into protecting this expensive phone. Thank you Torras and thank you Alyssa. You now have a lifelong user of your products. I’ve been so happy with the tourist product that I purchased their MagSafe ring stand, which I absolutely love it pairs perfect with the new Z-fold 5 case! Just buy it!**Update - the piece to the left of your outer screen has no adhesive like the Samsung case, but I wish it did because my finger seems to always land on it, so it moves a little. Small little gripe, but could be a future improvement.

I was researching on which case to get for my Fold 5, this particular Torras case came out on top.Top features were the S-Pen hold, the easy installation of the case, raised edges of the camera bump and the screen edges. The case also did not add too much bulk, but it was still able to provide good protection. The only knock this case has is one point of structural weakness with the front folded screen part, on the left side of the screen where the case is at its thinnest. I especially liked that the case includes a magnet at the back that makes it compatible to MagSafe products.I was able to use the case no problems throughout 6 months, multiple trips without hiccups. But one the I was pulling my phone out of pocket when the aforementioned part of the case broke. I immediately contacted Torras customer service through their website. I was quickly connected to Abby and she was just awesome. She confirmed which part got broken and promptly sent out a replacement case within days.Good case, great customer service.

Update 9/25/2023: I had to come back and update this review because the orginal review below is just not true. I've knocked the score down to 2 from 5 stars for the updated reasons below but I'm leaving the original post in it's entirety for posterity.The magsafe is not strong and can not hold the charge. It can sit just fine on the magsafe charger, but does not keep a constant charge to the phone. I used multiple chargers I had including a car mount one and a portable one. Either it would recongnize the charger and start, only to just stop moments later, or just not start. The case, while does not use glue points, also easily gets dislodged from the phone, least the back side does.There is an insert for the new style Spen here that you can easily pull out if you have the older edition, but once you do the insert fit is forever loose. While it's thr best side of case pen holder I've come across (the spigen thin case is much beefier) it's still this weird extension to the front of the phone that juts out and makes reaching the side buttons a chore.No one has done a good job at getting the pen to fit, and Samsung should just house the pen inside the damn phone already, but of the lot at least Torras did well here. The rest of the package though, is not good. Any phone case that tries to house the pen, it's like a tumor, but Torras does the best I've come across at doing it. It houses the new slim fold pen just right without being an eysore.There is NO glue pads on this case and thank god for that! It snaps on and stays on. The Magsafe magnet is strong, real strong. There are so many damn cases that claim to be magsafe but weigh a ton and the rinky-dink magnet they throw in there does not work. This case, top notch.The picture they are using make the case look like a smokey blue, but it's just a frosted semi transparent. There is no hinge protection, but to be honest I think hinge protection is pointless, if not lead to damaging the fold screen by pressing oddly into the hinge. It's light and the materials feel soft and premium.I don't bother to normally bother reviewing things on Amazon; this case made me take time to review it. Pick up the case. It gets top marks from me.
