Costly
I feel as if this raw honey is wasted on me as although I'm a big honey lover, I've never posed the ability to tell the difference from raw honey or otherwise. I can tell the difference between proper honey and the shops 50p own brand but that's about it.This is probably as top quality you can reasonably buy when it comes to honey and it does taste delicious.

Most likely real, tastes really nice, but somethings on my mind.
The media could not be loaded. This is similar to Steens 830+ 20+ whist this is pure and raw and most likely from New Zealand I can't help but know these manuka honey's seem to be a scamming industry, because I have taken teaspoon of manuka honey a day for years, and back when i got them from Holland and Barret the MGO1000's UMF 50+ etc.. Did absolutely nothing other than make tea taste nice, and add more sugar in my diet. I didn't notice any reduction of acne, I didn't have better skin. The only benefit I got from any honey, trust me I've tried more than 50 different brands in the last 10 years and I still got sick and still got skin problems, didn't know what all the hype is about. Then it dawned on me pretty sure it's great way to make money as there are so many reputable testimonies right? As this stuff is absolutely delicious, I can see why humans love it and why bees both make and love it.This tasted crystalized slightly, with a slow syrupy coating around the throat, it pushed my blood sugars through the roof, it's very sweet. It is great to use as a cane sugar substitute, but one should note this is mostly fructose and the liver partly metabolizes, so anyone with liver problems or fatty liver should not be eating honey. This product though good, isnt' filled to the top, it is also very expensive and think that these 225g should really cost no more than 20 quid in my opinion. Just makes sense to me, if they don't do anything for me in terms of the stated antibacterial properties, I'm sure it does have it, I know how manuka honey tastes, and I do believe this is real, but is it enough to make a difference? That's a question you need to ask yourself before buying. £66 is steep for 225g that is a full grocery shopping.P.SOn a personal level I stopped buying manuka honey a few years ago, because of its lack of benefit and damage to my wallet. This doesn't mean manuka honey or this product is bad, it just means, this is better for rich people.

Premium quality and great taste
I recently got the chance to try Steens Manuka Honey MGO 1122+, a product that boasts a high MGO (Methylglyoxal) level of 1122+ and a UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) rating of 24+. It comes in a 225g bottle and is sealed and bottled in New Zealand.Packaging and Authenticity:The honey comes in a sturdy, glass jar which is sealed tightly to ensure its authenticity and preserve its quality. The labelling is clean, with all the important information like MGO and UMF levels clearly displayed. The jar even has a QR code that allows you to trace the product back to its origins in New Zealand, adding an extra layer of confidence in its authenticity.Taste and Texture:Upon opening the jar, the rich, golden colour immediately caught my eye. The texture was thick yet smooth, and the aroma was inviting. The taste was intense, but not overpowering—a unique blend that's nothing like supermarket honey - It definitely felt like a premium product.Potential Health Benefits:Steens Manuka Honey claims to have a high level of MGO, which is believed to offer antibacterial and antiviral properties. While I'm not a healthcare professional, and it's essential to consult one for medical advice, I did feel that using this honey in my tea and as a topping for my morning toast gave me a sense of overall wellness.Versatility:The honey paired well with various foods. I tried it in my morning tea, drizzled it over yoghurt, and even used it as a glaze for some grilled chicken – all with good results.Price Point:This is a premium product, and its price reflects that. However, given the high MGO and UMF levels, as well as the evident quality and potential health benefits, it seems to justify the cost.Pros:High MGO level of 1122+ and UMF rating of 24+Authentic, with traceable origins in New ZealandRich, complex taste and smooth textureVersatileRobust, sealed packagingCons:Premium price tag, although justified by its quality and benefitsFinal Thoughts:If you're in the market for a high-quality Manuka honey, Steens Manuka Honey MGO 1122+ is definitely worth considering. I am happy to rate it a 5/5 based on my experience.
