Heat cable was perfectly suited for my application for bathroom floor heat. The cable came well packaged and the instructions were concise and understandable. I first laid the heat mat to accept the cable and allowed for the junction where the supply end and the actual cable starts. The length and the actual square footage was exactly as it should have been. The test alarm and the information for the ohm rating both for 110v and 220v were in the instructions and easy to find. I put several systems in over the years and by far this was the best quality!. In my opinion considering you're setting this in thinset and under tile this is not the time to skimp or put in poor quality cable! This was the ticket and will continue to buy form this manufacturer.

We are updating. Our bathroom but have had the worst time with getting all of our tiles in and having to return tiles etc. this is going in our bathroom when we finally get the tiles and get everything completed. Will update

I will start off by saying that this is one of the BEST upgrades in our newly built home. My wife absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES .... LOVES... This new heated tile floor. I cannot even begin to explain to you how much she loves it.It was very easy for me to install because I was lucky enough to do it WHILE our home was being built. So I was able to just lay it down & then lay my tile floor. Then it was a done deal.I am so happy that we decided to go with this heated floor. It feels MAGNIFICENT on these cold fall nights when you have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. We dont have to stand on a COLD TILE FLOOR anymore. Its definitely a LUXURY to have!

This cable fits securely into the channels of tile uncoupling underlay mat, so I did not need to use the metal strapping included with the wire. The included continuity alarm was nice insurance to have so that if I damaged the cable during my tile job, I could mitigate the problem before it was too late. Regardless, I did not damage the cable during installation. It heats up the tile floor in my basement bathroom very evenly and even keeps the room warm enough with the door closed so I don't have to run much supplemental heat. It works with my 120v floor heating thermostat, so I'd imagine that it's compatible with all 120v floor heating thermostats. I think this is a great quality heat wire and I will be getting more of it for future home projects. Warm tile floors are the best feeling on your feet during cold fall and winter days.

This product came with a tester, which alerts you if the wire is malfunctioning, this is important because we put a layer of cement on top of it. Installed it in my bathroom, so I wouldn't step on a cold tile ever again.

I took this kit down to our basement, and then just strapped it (Included with the kit) to the ceiling, which is basically our sunroom's sub-floor. I then added a plug to the end, and plugged it into a smart plug, which I can now control with Alexa. Being that this is not the traditional installation, I do need to start it an hour or two before it's providing warmth, but that's due to the way I installed it, and has nothing to do with the product itself. My wife absolutely loves it, and now wants to retrofit the rest of the house with it.

I’m using this in my rv bathroom. It is a really good way to upgrade the bathroom floor. I’ve recently taken on a remodel project that has been made a lot more interesting thanks to this heated wire system.
