Did not stay warm or get warm

It takes forever to warm up and once it does it gets cold again quickly.

I thought this would be really great for our below zero days while shopping or at kids games in the fall. I opened the package and the smell of the product is strong, it definitely bothered my nose, but I figured no big deal, it will eventually go away. Weeks later that strong smell is still there. The warmer works great, but I'm giving it 2 stars because I ordered this on January 5th and I have prime so imagine 2 days later I get the item January 7th. The item still smells awful weeks later, but the usb cable to charge it is coming apart on both ends. So again lets reiterate January 7th I received this item, didn't open it until the 8th, didn't charge it until January 9th and I've charged it 5 times since January 9th and as of January 30 the plug is COMING APART ON BOTH ENDS. So in 22days with 5 charges the plug is going to be useless. I just don't feel the price is worth it considering how it's already broke, it was nice when it worked, but I don't just have a usb cable like that around and I've had usb cables for years that lasted and this just made it just 3 weeks. Maybe I just got a bad usb cable, but I wouldn't chance the quality of this since it didn't even last a month.UPDATEI barely used this and the charger is broke, but since my first review where I gave it 2 stars and said it was charged 5, it's now been 7 times and it doesn't work. So i lowered my rating and gave it one star, I wish I could give it none. This is a useless product, there are good ones on amazon, but NOT THIS ONE. DO NOT BUY THIS, YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY. Also typically you have a problem the sellers might care and send you a message, these sellers don't, I guess they don't even read their reviews.
