Quality product ; the bowl had a lid so you can store in the refrigerator salads , pulao , marinated food etc . Worth the price Only the packing was bit shabby for gifting . Otherwise a useful product

Firstly, Amazon delivered it very securely packed so there was little chance of any damage while in transit. The product itself is excellent, and the lid is pretty decent too (though the instructions on the box say not to use the plastic lid in the microwave). The glass itself is good but a bit thin, at least when compared with other brands like Pyrex and Treo. On the plus side it is a bit lighter, but durability wise I don't think it makes much difference despite it being lighter, since being glass it needs to be treated with care anyway. I use these mainly for microwave warming/cooking, and it is really excellent for that purpose, since it is completely safe unlike plastics and does not leach chemicals into the food, nor does it get stained. It is easy to clean and the only drawback that I can think of for microwave cooking is that the glass conducts heat and gets hot pretty quickly and you need to use some kind of cloth or oven mitt to take it out since it does not have handles. As an indication of size, this bowl is perfect for making two portions of instant noodles/pasta or soup for two people in the microwave.

I liked it , thickness is wow

Did not expect this from Borosil brand. They seem to be selling factory second quality samples online.. bowl had several air bubbles and internal joint cracks.. had the first recieved product replaced.. the replacement too had same issues..

The lid doesn’t close well ..
