These are lightweight and easy to pack for travel or outdoor activities. I ordered them because I enjoy hiking and I don't mind going in light rain. These offer great coverage while also freeing up my hands from carrying an umbrella. They are thicker than the little throw away ponchos but still thin enough to pack flat and not add much weight to my bag. Affordable enough that they can be thrown away after a few uses but durable enough to last a while so that it's not wasteful. The colors look nice with my boots, especially the green. They aren't very breathable, but since yet have buttons, you can easily unbutton for extra airflow.

These are very thin but I suppose that in a light rain, they'd work. The price reflected the quality.

These take up no room to store and are great to have for walking the dog, trips to the shed or running to get the mail- during downpours!!! Where I am located, wind usually comes with the rain so an umbrella is not practical. These are lightweight and foldable, and can be stashed anywhere.
