I got this because my daughter is about to get her hair done again and she cant decide what color she wants for her tips, so i thought get this let her try each color to see what she liked so she could decide. I ordered this hair chalk because it said that after you put it in use a blow dryer on it to dry it so you don't get it all over you and it stays in the hair. It stays in the hair the problem is that even after it is dried the color comes out and gets all over things. another thing i noticed is that although they came in twist up containers the chalk breaks very easy, and if you don't have light hair the colors don't show up that well. my daughter was just trying it on her tips and they were already blond so it showed up, but when she tried to put on some of her darker hair it didn't her hair is a medium brown. when on blonde however the colors are very bright and pretty. we also had to use both the blue ones just to do the tip of her hair, if you buy this and you want to do what that picture looks like and your hair is that length or longer you will probably need 3 or 4 of these packs if not more. and where gloves make sure the hair is wet and clean when you first do it and make sure it is completely dry when you are done. and you are gonna wanna cover your pillow when you go to bed. the good thing it washes out easy. but bad thing when wet it goes everywhere so if you plan on going outside when its any type of wet weather don't use this. In the end its pretty on the blonde its messy and I would not buy this again.

These are pretty much a one time application use.2 applications tops if you apply it lightly. I was worried that it would rub off onto furniture or clothing but once it dries, it stays put.Overall, they work great and look great.

The media could not be loaded.  Pretty good product, so 5/5 stars. My daughter has very long hair, so creating the rainbow effect took about 30-40 minutes. I wrote this review after it was in her hair for about 9 hours. The vibrance of the colors faded quite a bit as the day wore on, but I’m thinking “touch ups” would have helped. It does make the texture of the hair feel very thick/chalky, so those with easily tangled hair should be aware.Overall, it was easy to use and initially very pretty colors that she absolutely loved. She received many compliments, so she was pretty happy. All of it came out in the shower with regular shampoo and conditioner, so that was also a plus.Tip: I used the back of a hard notebook and colored one small section of hair at a time. Be sure to cover clothing with a towel because the colors will bleed onto clothes for about 5-10 minutes while still wet. I finished it with a 2 minute blow dry and that helped set the color more.

While I wish the hair chalks would have shown up more in my hair, the colors were still really cool. People with lighter colored hair might have more success. I especially loved the shimmery colors most - I have actual sparkles in my hair! I applied when both wet and dry. Wet definitely works better. The chalks were incredibly easy to apply, and hair can be straightened and curled without issue after applying. I have dark hair (brown), but the colors that showed up best were the pinks and blues...I even tried them all. It turns out you can see all the colors if you're in certain lighting, but for the most part, they did not show as vividly as the picture. They left a bit of texture in the hair, but not that gross feeling one with most hair chalks. Overall, I'd rate a 4/5. :)

My granddaughter thinks these are fantastic. They are not chalk. More like a crayon/wax. The product "froze" in her hair when we walked when the temperature was in the mid to high 30's. It easily washed out with shampoo. She's had fun mixing color streaks in her hair. She has medium to dark brown hair and the colors do show up especially in bright daylight. I scored huge grandma points with this present.

Worked well on “blond” dog. Didn’t have to wet fur first. The colors are bright. It’s not exactly chalk- more of a waxy texture. The “pen” is deceptive, not a very big piece of chalk. It doesn’t twist up so you don’t have more than what you see. That was a disappointment. If you pull it out to use it gets really messy.

Purchased this for fun for our daughter. This makes your hair really sticky and hard. The sticks crack off very easily and it's very messy.It would be good for dress up or Halloween, but not for everyday.

À notez que je l'ai essayé sur cheveux secs sur des cheveux de couleurs blondes. Chaque crayons a sa propre couleurs aussi prendre en considération que je n'ai essayer qu'une seule couleur pour cette evaluation soit le rose sur cheveux blond.Ca prend un peu plus de temps à faire que je m'attendais. Il m'a fallut un temps d'adaption avant de comprendre qu'il ne faut pas avoir peur à appuyer un peu plus fort pour de meilleurs résultat. En gros, le résultat est là. La couleur est bien visible. Très hâte de voir le produit final à Halloween. Expedition rapide.

The media could not be loaded.  These hair chalks comes in lovely colors and it is non toxic so you can use it for yourself or your kids. My daughters really loves it!It's really easy to use it and I like the roller pen feature. It doesn’t mess your hands this way. Apply on wet or dry hair, it works both way but I prefer to use it when it’s dry.I found out that the hair chalk didn’t do the same result on different type of hair. It’s didn’t work well on mine and not only because I have dark hair.It lasted two days on our hair and it didn’t mess our sheets or the couch. Maybe because it was dry. It went away easily just with water but I used shampoo to make sure everything was gone.The best way I found to apply is to do it on small bunch of hair and another small bunch with the same color top to bottom. Have fun!

This was purchased for a Halloween costume and unlike the image of what appears to be dark hair being colored quite vibrantly, this went on a bit like sidewalk chalk and didn't look great. If you have light hair and use the whole stick of your desired color it might be better, but it seemed difficult to apply and difficult to get the color desired.

These work pretty well - it does get all over your hands, but isn't as sticky as some other hair chalk I've used. Colors are very bright on blonde hair and washes out easily.Warning though - I thought it was like a pen that you could twist to push more of the color up, but it's not. There's only color at the tip so I wasn't able to do most of my hair one color (for a costume) like I thought I would.
