excellent detector. more reliable than the electricians one. lol
you pay for what you get with detectors usually. cheap ones can be unreliable. ive found this to be excellent so far and not too big.

Good tool when used appropriately and with understanding
For general use this is a great product but be careful you can get both false positive and negatives when it is being used in the vicinity of a live wire (that seems to be the case with all of these pieces of kit). It is best when used in direct proximity to a wire to check if the wire is live or not and not as a tool to investigate if a hidden wire is present.

Always on feature
Great, don't have to mess about holding or pressing buttons to use it every time. Feels sturdy and has worked as needed over the last few months of use, never failed.

Great for indicative purposes that it’s meant for but not to be used for accurate testing
I’ve always grown up knowing Fluke as the top of the industry an they didn’t really disappoint here as it worked straight out of the packaging and identified cabling of different voltages that I knew were live. Let’s be clear though, THIS IS NOT a form of testing an is just an indication. For that purpose it’s excellent but certainly cannot be substituted in place of thorough test procedure.
