This is an adorable dress up bug catching set. Hat, vest, net and so many other fun pieces and parts. My three year old grandson is in love with this set. He wears the hat and vest all the time. It’s a really nice quality set, fantastic value and would make a great gift.

This is a fun and large set of adventure gear for the nature-loving/bug-loving kids! It includes a variety of different supplies from a vest and hat, to binoculars, flashlight, a net, and bug catcher container. Some of the pieces are not yet put together, so it does take a bit of time when you first open it to get everything out of their packaged and piece together. I got this for my 3-year old son for Christmas, and he loves it, as well as my 5-year old daughter. I’d say my son is probably on the young side for this, as this is best for kids aged between 3-7 years old. Would be a perfect Christmas gift, birthday gift, or to bring along on a camping or hiking trip!

This explorer kit is impressive in the number of items it comes with. When we were unboxing it, we just kept pulling more and more items out! However, the quality of many pieces is average to low. It isn’t a toy durable enough for longevity in an outdoor setting. I would have preferred fewer pieces in the kit, of a higher quality. The vest and bag are plasticy and came all wrinkled up. They aren’t very comfortable to wear. The binoculars were what initially drew me to the kit. They do swivel and come with a strap. But I can order better kid binoculars that actually work, so I’ll definitely be doing that to add to the outdoor exploring experience for my grandkids. The bug net is pretty nice and works well. The different tools to examine the insects work well, there are a lot to choose from! Overall, I’m happy with the kit as a kid’s toy but the practicality for outdoorsy exploring is lacking.

My grandson loves the great outdoors. He's also fascinated by lizards. He caught one using the OOOK Kids Explorer kit and has been examining the little critter from every angle ever since. He and his sister have used every item in this bug-catching set to explore the wooded area behind their house. After they release the lizard back into the wild, they plan to look for frogs.

We were missing the goggles, whistle, insect trap, magnifying glass, and flashlight in the box.
