When I opened the lid, the fine particles were perfectly packed, and when I applied it on the back of my hand with the enclosed spatula, I felt like applying soft cream cheese. When I applied it on my face, it was coated clearly on my body temperature, maintained moisturizing power for a long time, and the dryness of my skin improved a lot.

Soothing, hydrating, and very buttery thick balm texture keeps the moisture to the skin. was hard to apply at first, but I rubbed it between my fingers and it started melting made it easier to apply

This moisturizer is perfect for dry, winter climates. It provides a thick barrier of moisturizer on your skin and is great to apply at night before you go to bed to refresh dry, chapped skin. It also works well if you are going to be outside in cold winter weather and want to protect your face. I was delighted that this balm kept my skin hydrated and smooth during a trip from California to Utah. I even applied it to my hands so that they wouldn't crack and bleed. The balm is a very thick moisturizer, but it does not feel greasy and absorbs quickly. The balm is very thick and difficult to get out of the jar. Use the spatula that is provided to dig out a small portion of the balm and then spread it out over your face with your fingers. A little bit of the balm goes a long way, which is great as it makes this jar a better value. You can use the balm on your face, neck, chest, hands, heels, basically anywhere that is dry and needs some extra attention. This balm is the perfect gift for anyone living in a cold, dry climate whose skin needs some extra love in those cold winter months.

My skin is always dried because of air conditioning so I’m looking for protecting facial skin and this is enough good for it!!

This balm is absolutely amazing! In the last week, a sunscreen I wore while gardening in 80+ degree weather irritated my skin and left it raw and red, and within a day of that, I saw a dramatic 40+ degree drop in temperatures, so now my dry heat is on at home. Suffice it to say, all of this has taken a toll on my skin. Every year, my skin does a complete “freak out” when New England inevitably oscillates wildly in temperature to usher in a new season. Right now I’m dealing with dry, flaking and irritated skin, and this neuraderm balm is a lifesaver. The balm is very thick, and you will appreciate the scoop inside to remove the balm from the jar. It has a mildly clinical smell (like when manufacturers try to zero out scent). Most balms that I have used in the last have been petroleum based and very sticky or greasy. Neuraderm has a substantial percentage if shea butter, and it glides into the skin with a little massaging, and isn’t at all sticky or greasy. It leaves my skin so soft and moisturized! I’m even using it on my extremely dry hands. I like to apply this after a moisturizing serum to really lock in the moisture. I think that even the most sensitive of skin types would tolerate this balm well. If you struggle with dry, dehydrated, or irritated skin, I’d strongly encourage you to give this a try!

This is not a face cream but a face balm! So it is a hard and depending on how warm or cold it is you may have to warm it up before you can evenly apply it. I find it difficult to apply since you just get a small chunk and try to spread it. Sometimes gravity gets in the way and I end up dropping it and have to throw it away. You definitely have to wait for it to warm up from your skin or this product will drag your skin as you try to massage it on. So I'd definitely would recommend putting on a serum or facial oil to leaves your skin more hydrated to make putting on this balm easier. Since its autumn and getting close to winter, I do like putting this on and top of my moisturizer on areas that feel more dry. It doesn't make my skin feel heavy when I do this either. So far this hasn't caused any skin irritations or breakouts. I'm not sure if its worth the price, but its doing an alright job at keeping my skin moisturized.

This balm isn't for me as it's way too difficult to work with. When applying it directly on the face, it inevitably pulls the skin, which I prefer to avoid. Even when attempting to warm it up in my palm first, nothing remains for facial application. I've opted to use it on my neck and hands. Additionally. I find it leaves a sticky feeling for a while before eventually disappearing. Not good value for its price.
