Perfect for Christmas and other special occasions
I purchased this to decorate a large span of curtains in my living room for Christmas. They were easy to hang up, did not keep me from easily opening and closing the curtains and we're a nice addition to the Christmas decorations. They are more of a matte gold color and do not have any glitter. The thread is white and goes through each star entirely but is not noticeable when hanging. I did not have issues with them getting tangled when putting up, taking down or packing away. I'd recommend these for Christmas or New Year's decorations or for a baby shower or other party.

Beautiful, slightly less sturdy than I hoped.
Very pretty, and the price is right. We used 3 as a garland on our 7-foot Christmas tree and pulled it off, but 4 is probably the right number to be using. :) My one gripe is that the paper, while sturdy, is not as thick and bend-resistant as I had hoped. It's maybe bristol-paper thickness rather than cardboard. But, for the price, it's hard to be too mad.

We used these for a co-worker/friend’s bridal shower, and they are exactly as pictured! Loved them!They definitely added that special touch that helped turn our boring conference room lovely and fun! We were surprised how nice that room could look with the right decorations.I’d definitely recommend these if you’re looking for an extra touch of sparkle for your event!

innacurate colors/descriptions.
Two things -- first of, as of this writing, if you select "silver" you get gold stars (the image is reversed, I am assuming if you select gold you get silver stars). Secondly, the gold stars that I received (instead of silver) are not shiny/metalic as pictured. They are a dull gold color. If this is what you want, great, but don't expect any shine in them.
