First time ever using an herbal hair wash. I have used commercial shampoos my entire life and have very oily scalp and hair at the roots. I get oily quick and I usually use an anti dandruff shampoo daily and a conditioner on the ends or a conditioning spray afterwards so it doesn’t get dry and staticky from frequent wash. I’ve recently had itchy scalp really bad too. I wanted to try something new and organic. I have not washed my hair for 48 hours on purpose so it would be good and oily to see if this would actually cleanse. I did not expect this to work as well as it did! I should have taken a before picture of the oil so you could see the difference. It’s amazing. Video is immediately after washing and blow dry. No conditioner used at all. I mixed 150 grams of water with 1/2 tablespoon aritha, 1 teaspoon shikaki, and 1/2 tsp each of amla and hibiscus. I let them sit for about 24 hours. Then I brought to a boil and cooled a little. It filled a mouthwash Dixie cup then. I dumped it around my scalp and rubbed it through my head before I got into the shower. It coated much of my hair but not all the way to the ends. Some ends were still dry. My hair is short, ear length. I let it sit while I washed in the shower, then added hot water and scrubbed it all over, then rinsed. It felt very soft as I rinsed, as if I had applied conditioner but I didn’t. It never lathered and was very gritty until rinsed thoroughly. I seriously thought I’d blow dry and still have very oily hair because of the way it felt when wet, but to my surprise it is so clean and soft at the same time, with no oil or dryness! It is really balanced! It feels good and light and silky as I run my fingers through my hair. I do not have any remaining oil, even at the nape of my neck and temples where it is usually the most. Very impressed! If this takes away my scalp itch and allows me to get away from commercial shampoos and expensive conditioners, I will be so dang happy. Give it a try! Works great!

Quality product.

A really excellent hair mask. After letting my hair grow waist length I needed something to keep it in shape. Not using any commercial shampoos or conditioner again. The chemicals are just too harsh. Plus, I had trouble with thinning. I am using the herbal way for at least a year to see the results. Will update. Good value for the money as a little goes a long way when mixed. I also use a scalp and hair oil so I believe the duo will improve the texture of my hair. Well worth the money.
