Not spandex as described but fully cotton. The issue with trunks like these is the thick elasticated waist band. The degrade with each wash and sadly end up cutting in into the flesh of your waist. These are oversized and i’m in two minds as to try them or return them, it will be determined by price but definitely not as described!

The material is very soft and comfortable. Easy to put on and is not loose or tight on the thighs or waist line. I was worried about it constricting around my waist line but it stretches easily. Overall it is a very good product and I recommend it to anyone looking to buy a comfortable pair of good quality underwear. Thanks amazon.ca!

After reading reviews here, I decided to try these briefs. I usually wear a 4X in Hanes. Ordered 7X as I figured I would work my way down until I found the right fit... To my amazement, the 7X's fit perfectly! These things are THREE SIZES undersized! Maybe a decimal point got moved in the translation from English to Chinese, who knows! All I know is that the 7X size matches my 4X Hanes briefs. The construction of these is different than what Im used to; some may not like the flap function, but it works for me. Band doesnt ride up, legs seem to stay put. Very nice feel to the material. They survived one wash, will have to look to see how they work after a few weeks, but so far, these are very comfy and fit perfectly (Well, if I want to be critical, they do ride a bit high, but I have no problem with that). Lets see how long the elastic lasts!
