Great Taste & Well Reviewed on Consumer Reports
Taza chocolate did well on Consumer Reports lead/cadmium list so I was happy to find this variety pack. Not all stores carry Taza. It tastes a little gritty b/c it's 'stone ground' but overall very good!

Only chocolate brand I buy
Best chocolate I have ever had. Love the texture. It is slightly grainy (in a good way) like the sugar that’s in brownie batter. So good.

"Chocolate Chalk!
This is by far the worst chocolate I have ever eaten. It seriously tastes like "chocolate chalk," only not that great either. I appreciate the way this particular type of chocolate is made etc. but I personally think you'd have to be raised on this type of dry "weirdness" in order to fully appreciate it or to have a "developed" taste for it.I tried to make myself eat them with the fact they are supposedly of high quality, plus the expense plus it was the only chocolate I had at the time. I was hopeful that those with nuts the Sea Salt and Nut, and Hazelnut and Praline would help with the chalkiness, but not, still chalky. One bite of the Cacao Crunch and I was done! Not only was it very bizarre tasting ( yuk) but at first I thought it was the Seriously Dark bar as the wrapper looked like it matched better than the pink wrapper that it came in. No matter how much I tried to make myself eat this chocolate, my tongue would have none of it ! So all but one bar went in the trash and that was the "Seriously Dark" which even it needed a lot of honey added to it, and I eventually ended up throwing it out too. Finally, I didn't like the fact that in the Amazon ad it doesn't show you a picture of all four bars separately with their individual ingredients, not a very good job of disclosure. Not sure about this company really. As much as I appreciate all the logistics behind the making of Taza chocolate, not only will I not purchase these again, neither do I recommend them at all.

It's OK.....tastes a little chalky....
...have removed it from my Subscribe and Save. I'm sure it's good for me than others but the taste didn't justify the cost.

I never thought chocolate can be THIS bad
I mean... I kinda get the whole "stone ground" thing, maybe that's the part of the reason why the aftertaste is so bad....But still, I had to wash it off with some mint toffees, nothing else worked. The aftertaste is just straight up burnt plastic. And it doesn't hit immediately, it gets all sudden, a few minutes after you're done and all like "huh okay, so it's pretty gooooeeeuuughhhhhh what the hell man ewww"Rate it 2/5 for giftable because... The packaging and overall format is quite nice. It'd be 5 stars for giftable, if, you know... The person didn't have any plans on actually eating these. For the taste I would give it 0 stars, honestly.Value for money - hell if I know, how do I rate the value of an edible item that I can't eat?Structure isn't that bad though, a bit granular, works for me, definitely not as smooth as your regular Hershey chocolate. Whether it's a good or bad thing - you decide.BE CAREFUL AND AWARE of the taste. Im not picky when it comes to chocolate but SWEET LORD it's horrible. I will have flashbacks for days now.
