Lice vacuum cleaner

The item took quite a while to arrive, then it was left on my doorstep in plain view of passers by. I had requested via the web link that it be left with a neighbour who luckily was passing and took the package in. The first time I used the product the comb teeth bent out of shape. It doesn't seem to have been affective the issue it was supposed to be resolving, also for what it is, it's very expensive. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Having tried a ridiculous variety of products and techniques on my 12 yr olds very thick and long hair with limited success this was the last chance saloon before a short hair cut (horror for my image conscious girl!). Works betters than the previous best method which was hedrin then nitty gritty comb. Those parents whose children have long thick hair will know that you simply cannot get every lice and nit despite nightly combing and weekly lice lotion, just missing one (easily done with very thick hair) and it starts again.Arrived on time. I was surprised at how basic the kit was and there is no English instructions however I watched the YouTube video and figured it out through trial and error during the first session. You need to make sure the attachment is firmly clicked in place or it will pop off. I sectioned into around 12 sections given my daughters very thick hair and my goodness it works! Got so many from that first session I was quite disgusted as having regularly treated i thought it would be have much less. My daughters hair is a light brown so you can't often see them but that doesn't matter with this as the machine just sucks them out.I have used this four times now with significantly less caught in the filter each time, now just the tiny ones. I doesn't remove the nits so you need to continue for several weeks to ensure all hatched lice are removed.For this type of hair when you've tried all alternatives I would recommend. It is tricky to get the knack so be prepared for a learning curve! Just knocked one star off as it is very expensive for what is essentially a special Hoover attachment.

I had high hopes for this as we paid to have a similar treatment at a lice clinic previously. Despite following the instructions (and double checking the Spanish wording to make sure I was using it correctly) this only caught a couple of lice and eggs but also a lot of hair! It was ok for my son's short hair but even tangle-free longer hair was sucked into matted knots using this product. If the comb was better quality (like nitty gritty) I think it would work better in removing adult lice as the rest of the tubing etc fitted the hoover perfectly. Such a pity!

We have tried countless ways of getting this to work as described, but the part is cheap and ineffective. The hose keeps coming off it's own connection, the comb bends easily, and the whole thing feels cheap and nasty. There are no English instructions, (not that it really needs many, but would have been nice), and the box was not wrapped or boxed properly. Quiet possibly the worst item I have ever purchased on eBay.

None of the chemicals or the remedies I found in my searches on the net have worked, and the teeth on most combs are not fine enough to get the little blighters. Desperation and devastation until I found this device. It's easy to use and success instant. It's therapeutic. Just sit watching telly and comb through. The minute "little darlings" that the combs miss and need a magnifier to see were there in the filter. Looking forward to being lice free!!! A friend of mine in Spain went to a specialized center and bought one of those and it worked well. The video that shows how it works is very useful.

I bought this for my long hair, hoping it would work well. I'm disappointed want my money back I can't pull it threw my hair it nots it all up puts my hair in a rats nest. I even tried pulling it threw my short bangs. Stopped half way thru because it notted. This was not cheap, sucks it does not work.;

It came with two dead lice trapped in it. Obviously used.
