Smile, you're on camera ☺️
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought these for my staff to wear while working to record any disrespect towards them while performing their duties. I did not expect the video resolution to be so sharp. It was like HD video footage and the sound was very clear as well. It also came with an SD card and ab thumb drive to put the SD card in so that you could review the recordings. You had to download some software to configure the date but that was not too difficult. The results though, were amazing. Love this product and the price, the icing on the cake. A great buy.

Great camera! (revised 3.25.24); revised again 6.30.24.
I wanted a small, discreet camera to use on our dog walks because, if an untoward incident occurs, video evidence is better than recall.I had to send for info to apply the time/date stamp, as I could not download the text file from the boblov website. In the text message (yq_config_file) I received, I changed to the correct time and date. With the camera connected to the computer via the USB cord, I then saved the revised text file to the USB file (F: drive, in my case, Windows Vista).Time will tell about durability, but so far:Pros:(1) It’s small (75 mm x 26 mm x 15 mm) and black so as to not be easily noticed. The small flashing light is to the side, not the front.(2) A 64Gb TF (micro SD) card is included.(3) It takes good video (1080p at 30 fps).(4) The audio is surprisingly good for such a small camera.(5) It does a good enough job in low (indoors) lighting, and seems okay in drizzly rain.(6) Our dog walks last 60-75m, and the camera is still running at the end.Cons:(1) The instructions say(a) video recording: flashes blue(b) charging: flashes chartreuseTo my aging eyes, these appear to be reversed in my camera.(2) I needed to revise the clip after the camera fell off my sling pack strap while I was shoveling snow on a walk. Good thing I felt my strap and looked back. There it was--lying on the sidewalk! Back home, I cleaned the clip. Then using one-sided sticky Velcro, applied rough Velcro out (facing camera body) on the outside clip. It seems to have helped retain the camera better.REVISION (3.25.24):Well, initially, I liked the camera very much. I even bought another one. Now, I have to downgrade my review from 5 stars to 3 stars because in varying (not so much) outdoors lighting, the video would go almost dark, like the darkness of dusk just before nightfall. I thought it was just the one camera, but the 2nd one has the same problem. If I can see pretty well with my aging eyes, I expect the video camera to record almost as well as what my eyes saw.Revision 6.30.24.I like the camera, hence now 4 stars. The biggest drawback is that the clip alone is not enough to hold the camera to a sling strap. I would suggest Boblov include a lanyard. I lost one of my cameras on a dog walk when I stopped to cut tall weeds.

Works great for body cam .
I use this when walking my dogs or on a visor for a dash cam. Well worth the money. Very small but the video and audio are great.

Do NOT purchase!!! 👎🏻
My window for return expired or it would be going back. As many of the reviews which I neglected to read before purchase because I needed something quickly. The clips are useless. They don’t hold tightly. Camera easily came off several times. It is not steady at all. Maybe a twisting and locking clip would be more useful. The camera would get hot to the touch while on. Unable to view footage without a computer on the road. An app for the phone would be useful. The on and off switch would be better if it was a push button. Do not purchase if you need it to record situations that may occur quickly. At this point turning on your camera to recorded would be faster. Wish o could get my money back.

The EASIEST bodycam to operate
I own at least half dozen Boblov bodycams. Just when I thought I had the perfect one I tried this one and WOW. Absolutely has to be the easiest foolproof operation. All you do is flip up the on/off switch (which is the ONLY switch on one side) to turn on and then flip down to off. Can do just by feel. I was able to connect via USB cable direct to my iPhone (its a micro-USB, and wish it was USB-C but hey…) and can view and manage the videos right on my phone. Its way smaller than any of the other cameras and the way the clips are designed it can stay very close to your body and won’t move around. Of course helps to wear the right garment (I have vests with molle webbing which works perfect and keeps camera very secure). This is now my everyday bodycam.

It's okay, but...
I needed a body camera because I have a violent neighbor and need evidence for some of the problems he causes. I bought this because it seemed simple to use. It's okay and it takes good video, but I'm not sure I would recommend it. Here's why:1. It is top heavy and not well balanced. It didn't work well in my pocket, as it flopped from side to side and moved too much. I need to make sure it's pointing to my neighbor if he comes out and causes trouble.2. There is no place to attach a lanyard, so I had to make shift a way to attach one. Again, that didn't work, as the camera kept spinning around sideways. I need it to point forward!3. The instructions need to be better.4. Date and time stamping need to be included as a built-in feature, not as a cludgy additional step. As it stands now, you need to go to the internet, download a pice of software, connect your camera to the computer, and configure the date/time stamp feature. I was able to figure it out, but it wasn't exactly conventient, and many people would not put up with this.5. For my purposes, the "record" button needs to be a push button and not a slider button. My need for a body camera is unique, and I need to know that it is pointing to the subject accurately, and I need to be able to start recording immediately! If your needs for a body cam are different and more basic, this camera may work well for you.I hope this helps.
