Good read!
I got the book on Monday and finished it on Tuesday. Tiffany did a good job detailing her life in this story. I enjoyed it. I love a story with those who failed and never gave up. It makes them who they are today. Congratulations, Tiffany!

FUNNY BOOK
I read a lot of reviews and some people complained about the profanity and the grammatical errors. LOL, you are reading a Tiffany Haddish book, what do you expect? She curses a lot and the grammatical errors are not really errors if that's how she speaks in her daily life. She keeps the verbiage true to how she really is and I appreciated that. It made the book even funnier to be able to read her story and to picture her having a conversation with another person while using her own words, ebonics, slang, profanity, and all. The way the book is written, the dialogue, and the grammar are purposeful in my opinion. Is it vulgar at times? Yes, but she is keeping it real and I don't think she should change that now. There are times of course that a person has to show some decorum but in her private life, I don't see why she needs to change that. I grew up in New York so I am familiar with how blacks and Latinos speak and this does not make us less intelligent than anyone else. This is just a way of life when you grow up inner city or in "the ghetto" and I say that proudly. There is no shame in growing up poor either if you work hard to better yourself. Aside from that, the book is great because it really outlines her entire life, her struggles, her thoughts, and her rise to fame while still showing the kind of person she is to this day, humble, deserving and hard-working. I highly recommend the book to those that will not be offended by the language and if you are then why buy it in the first place?

I'm Still Not Sure
Small book. Dark topics, with a lot of foul language to give it an UP-laugh? This didn't work, for me. There is some good advice, in the last chapter, for anyone thinking that a man is going to "fix" it for you...my advice (too) is he'll only make more drama until You Heal YOU 💗

SHE READY!
Tiffany Haddish is the first celebrity to write a book while her star continues to rise. From my experience from reading many celebrity memoirs, most of them write their life stories when their careers are on the tail end or a crisis has happened. Not so with Tiffany, "SHE READY!" and she is ready NOW! To do what? To show the world who she is, who she has been, and what she hopes to be moving forward... and no doubt to cash-in while her star is HOT!As I read this memoir, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Tiffany is krazy with a "K." The way the book is written it's definitely ADHD status (no pun attended), but it jumps around a lot, but it's PERFECT! Why? Because it works! It fits Tiffany's personality! If it were written any other way it would not come across as authentic. I can tell Tiffany meant for it to be funny, but at other times, some things that occurred in her life was no laughing matter. For instance, having an absentee father and a mother with a mental illness is a lonely world for a girl to grow up in. In addition to the emotional and mental neglect was the repeated physical abuse she endured by her mother and husband, and even from the kids in foster homes.Still, Tiffany is a survivor in every way, with a determination not to ever give up! She fights her way through ridicule, abuse, and a male-dominating industry, in order to make her way to the top. She's a raw talent whose honesty is identifiable by the average person. In life, we can be a "Betty Downer" or a "Winnie Woe is Me" or we can learn from our experiences and use them as a way to learn and heal as Tiffany did. Some of us learn by vicariously living through others and some of us learn from hands-on experience, Tiffany is the latter. She's learning and she is growing from her experiences.I enjoyed the book for the laughter and fun, but most of all for its honesty and the way it was written like a conversation between two girlfriends.I wish Tiffany continued success!

I love Tiffany and this book did not disappoint!!
I love Tiffany Haddish!! This book did not disappoint, I can hear the stories in her voice as I'm reading! My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! There are stories in here that I have heard before in her stand up or in interviews. A couple are exactly as I've heard her tell them. most of them that I have heard - have a lot more detail in the book. Annnnd there's a bunch that I just read for the first time. This girl has had an incredibly hard life and is just so beautiful inside through everything. Truly an inspiration to see the good in life and keep going. Waiting for the next one!!

Amazing
After watching her interview with Trevor Noah I decided to buy her book and I read it from cover to cover in one go. So funny and genuine, she is truly gifted at turning struggle into success and the book definitely teaches you to see the humour in your own life struggles, not in a preachy way but in a laugh till your face hurts kind of way. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs a good giggle, hey it might just change your life

It's alright
I’m going to admit something. Before listening to The Last Black Unicorn I didn’t know who Tiffany Hddishwas. I bought the book because I really like unicorns. What I know now is that she has had an interesting life. Bizarre, but interesting. At times, you feel completely sympathetic for some of the things that she had been through. Sometimes you kind of had difficulty deciding whether or not Haddish was the villain of the story. Either way, you cannot help but admire her tenacity and moxie. The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish is available now.

Could not put down!
She certainly is ready!Wow I was blown away by this book. I was hooked on it and I read it in 2 days (would have been 1 if I didn't have mum duties).I read it feeling like Tiffany was sat with me in a cafe telling me her life story. I felt all sorts of emotion, especially reading about her relationship. I was in an abusive relationship too but what she experienced was 10000x worse. The example she is setting is so powerful. She's come through so much and is a magnificent woman.Thank you for sharing your story with the world.I love her comedy and her book totally exceeded my expectations.A must read!

4 hours...
...of laughter and sadness. Her life reminds me of the life some of the young people I work with have/have had. I just hope and pray they all make it (whatever that means to/for them) just like the “last black unicorn “. Great read

It was kinda funny
The book felt very poorly written but I understand she’s a comedian and if someone else would have taken over writing then the jokes would have gotten lost. But overall this book felt like a rough draft instead of a published book. I do like the fact she was very open and real I now understand her craziness lol worth a one time read.
