Storage Carrying Travel Hard Case for Anker 548 Power Bank PowerCore Reserve 192Wh 60,000mAh Portable Charger, Case only

I ordered these because I required a larger size of a carry hardcase than they offered for the equipment that i have. I was very pleased when they arrived as they were bigger than I thought ( I had measured them but it is not the same as having them ) and I could fit all of the units in the two boxes. I am very pleased with them.

Quite often people will have a problem and cannot necessarily find a 100% perfect solution and this is my reason for this purchase. I don’t have the Anker battery for which the advert suggest this is for which I have no doubt fits perfectly and is very secure, but I do have the need to Transport an array of technical items smaller anchor, batteries, cables switch wireless mouse microphone WebCam the list can go on and on and I have every confidence that this case will protect them during transit which is why I purchased it. The size and shape of a car case is designed for the designated battery. However, it is very utilitarian and almost a military green colour but has internal pockets for storing items and could be carried in a rucksack or a suitcase, wanting to protect additional items.

The case seems well made and easily stores the Anker 548 power bank. Even though the battery sits off-centre it doesn’t really affect the carry handle ability to carry it around. The internal size is mostly correct for the Anker 548 power bank, there’s space above it you can put the divider and use it for storing cables/wall charger. The securing strap holds it in place and there’s a little extra depth to allow it to close with the power bank’s carry handle sitting on top as shown in my photo. All-in-all it’s a decent case that offers good protection for the power bank and additional accessories. The only improvement I’d make is to make the securing strap a little more heavy duty/tighter but it’s a minor thing. I’m happy to have a case that fits this power bank when transporting it to/from home.

The 192Wh capacity is high and it’s not overly large. However: The USB-C port is cap able of 60W discharge however you can only use I C port and A ports to go above this. If you use the other C port and A ports it’s Ltd to 20W which is insane. You would be far far better off buying the 737 which has a lower capacity but ability to discharge at 140W and recharge at 140W. Or spend the extra on a 521 which is similar sized but has a 3 pin adaptor. This also only charges at 60W. Upsides are very good capacity and great for 1 USB-C output (60W) or 2 USB-C output (60W and 25W). Just be aware of your needs and make sure this meets them.

Yes, the battery pack fits inside but. 1. All the weight is at one end so the carry handle on the side is useless due to unbalanced load. 2. The Anker has a semi rigid carry handle and that gets in the way of packing in the case and seems not to be shown in the product pictures. If the carry handle had been on the end and perhaps fixings for a shoulder strap it may have been more useful. Granted somewhere to store it and room for a mains charger, cables and instructions.

I freely admit to not owning the power bank this was designed for. I do however own a small portable air compressor that has very similar dimensions. It cost me a fair bit and I want to protect it as long as I can. This case does a great job of that. The outer casing is soft-shelled, so semi-rigid, but it offers a fair deal of protection. Fine for throwing in a toolkit or vehicle but might not take the weight of an adult man standing on it with one leg, especially if the device inside were to be delicate. Fine for any use I'm likely to need. The inner lining has a brushed material that effectively stop any scratches and scuffs. The netted, elasticated section does a reasonable job of storing any associated cable and keeping them separate, but I don't understand why they didn't make this section bigger. As it is it only covers about a quarter of the length of the case. Overall though I'm still really happy with it. It does a good job. The outer shell is certainly water resistant and handles scuffs and scrapes well without fraying or blemishing too much. I like it.

Cuando defino a este estuche como muy versátil, me refiero a que, aunque está diseñado para un propósito específico, poder guardar la batería Anker 548 PowerCore Reserve, esto no es óbice para que le podamos encontrar otro uso, y es que dada la capacidad y características del estuche, nos puede servir para guardar multitud de cosas o conjuntos de cosas, en mi caso, me ha venido de perlas para guardar las cosas de la máquina de coser eléctrica, desde el pedal, canillas, agujas, y me queda espacio para, si lo necesito, guardar mas cosas, como unas tijeras y otros accesorios que vaya encontrando, y que ahora tengo desperdigados. La calidad del estuche es muy buena, es resistente, y tiene un separador en el compartimento principal que se puede mover de sitio o quitar, las cremalleras tienen un accionamiento suave.
