Mitchell quality maintained after all these years
An 'old school' Mitchell man from the 60's, this reel surpasses the feel and performance of the 301 and Prince that I still use today. Lightweight and well made... smooth retrieve... great.

Too small
Good name Mitchell 300 year's ago But just too small looks silly. On my spinning rod. Gave it to my grandson.

Supreme float reel
Utterly fantastic reel that certainly keeps the reputation of the old mitchells going . For trotting a waggler on the trent etc you wont find a better fixed spool reel , well unless you get the pro version that is ( which i also did after being amazed by this model ) . No brainer just get one !

Great reel
This reel is awesome. I have other rods that I bring along with me when I’m fishing and this one is hard to put down. It’s a Mitchell. I expected nothing less of how it performed so far.

Mon mécontentement.
Je ne suis pas satisfait car j'avais commandé un moulinet Mitchell 300 et j'ai reçu un Mitchell 310. Je n'en ferai pas un drame, mais vous dire que je suis content serait vous mentir.

Great Reel
Love the reel. Probably be able to hand it down to my son, grandson, and beyond it is built so well. My only criticism is the drag knob loosens very easily. I found that any cheap abu Garcia 2500 reel drag knob fits and corrected the problem.
