Great Cheap Camera
I work with this equipment professionally and when I saw this and the price I thought it would never hold up. WRONG. Put these cameras on the network and the view angle is better than $300 cameras with the same quality. IR is great. They work great in Zoneminder and with the ONVIF they are very easy to set up. Web Interface for camera is also great. If you want high quality video night or day outside without a huge cost then these are great. They function outside in -40 weather without problem.

Meh!
Didn't work right, hard camera to configure, limited documentation.

This camera is really something, it's so clear, now I can use it to see what my dog is doing, even at night.

Look elsewhere
Cheaply built already rusting. There are better options and the savings won't be worth it.

An Excellent Camera!
I ordered three other brands and returned them after hours of frustration. They just didn't work as their product claimed they would. I've just opened this camera, had it up and running in a matter of minutes and found the software, videos, and guides to be excellent!I wish there were ten stars, because they earned at least that many.I highly recommend this camera for those of us on a budget. I'm just setting up a camera to watch a bird's nest as they lay, hatch, and raise their young.

Cheap, basic ip cam.
I was in the market for an inexpensive but functional ip camera. This one meets that standard. I use it not as a security camera but to broadcast its RTSP stream on our intranet to the offstage areas of a small theater. Viewing is accomplished with VLC.Good points: cost, color (black), direct RJ45 connection to LAN. Just plug it in and it works. Easy to configure IF you already know a thing or two about IP cameras and ethernet networks. Not so good points: documentation is below average at best, no zoom feature, inadequate for real-time streaming (the generation of the RTSP stream results in a very perceptible 2-3 second delay even on a hardwired LAN) but as a general purpose monitor where no one is calling cues with it then it's okay. If this camera were capable of RTC in lieu of RTSP then it would likely perform much better.Bad points: abysmal software both for configuration and remote viewing. Don't waste your time with the iPhone app. I tried to set up the motion detection feature just to see if it worked but even with SSL allegedly enabled, whatever method it's using to send emails with snapshots is blocked by google and others as an unacceptable security flaw. While you can configure the camera via Chrome or Safari you cannot see the image via its browser plugin which is apparently for IE only. Customer support is nonexistent but then again, if you actually need support you should probably shop for something else.If I had paid much more money for this I would have given it fewer stars. I would not purchase another one, or even an updated version of it, without first having seen reviews that clearly state that the manufacturer has addressed the deficiencies mentioned in this review.
