The Blankie Tail is beautiful and adorable! It is a wonderful gift set, as it includes a cute night mask for getting beauty sleep. This item is extremely soft, and beautiful in its color and whimsical bling. It can also be washed and dried. I would suggest washing inside out in cold water on a hand-wash cycle. I would dry inside out as well to preserve color and decorations. It is quite big. I bought this for a near five-year old, and there is more than enough room for growing. It should be a treasure for many years to come. Incidentally, I bought this for my grandson who is in love with the ocean and mermaids. He fell in love with his new Blankie Tail immediately. His mother told me that it is bringing much joy. I highly recommend this beautiful product. It also was packaged so nicely, making it an immediate gift-and-give for any occasion. I would definitely order this product again!

We got this for our little girl as a birthday gift, and she absolutely loves it. The blanket is extremely soft and durable. Our older girls have gotten mermaid blankets before that were not made as well, so they ended up with holes in the tail quickly. This blanket has help up and she has put it through the most already by constantly tugging at it and even walking around in it. It comes up over her shoulders when she slides her feet into the tail and she is 43" tall. She is constantly telling us how soft and comfortable it is as well. Will be purchasing again for other littles that we have in our lives.

This was a Christmas gift for our 5 year old. A new mermaid tail blanket was #1 on her list. This mermaid tail blanket is so much cooler than any other ones I have seen. She is over the moon about it. She loves that her feet can go down into the fins so she can walk around in it. It’s much bigger than I thought so she can sleep in it and will be able to for a long time. I am so happy with the purchase and would give more stars if I could! The sleeping mask was an extra bonus-who knew a 5 year old would love that so much.

Overall, I love it. It's a great way of keeping warm while watching TV or doing things at a desk in a cold basement without the hassle of a normal blanket being one-sided. It could be a bit longer. I'm 5'1", and when I have my feet at the bottom of the fins and the top pulled all the way up, it doesn't quite reach my shoulders. If it went up to my neck, it would be more snuggly, but it's good enough that I'm happy with the blanket. It's become my favorite blanket. The upper tail is fabulously soft, and it's made of that soft fabric that doesn't get less soft the more you wash it. Even though the fabric isn't the thickest fabric, it's not too thin either and has so far proven warm even on a cold night. There's a slight design flaw with the fin. I'm sure they did it for the asthenic affect of adding realistic mermaid detail by keeping the fin sturdier, but the fin is lined with a scratchy fabric. It's fine since I wear socks most of the time, but since the tail is short enough that my feet always poke into the fin at least a few inches even when I wear the fin lower on the waist like in the product photos, there would always be a bit of that scratchiness without socks. On the plus side, I love that Blankie Tails have fins your feet can fit into. It's the only mermaid tail blanket I've seen that has this, and it is very convenient if you need to move around. Rather than participating in a spontaneous potato sack race if you need to cross a room, Blankie Tails allow for enough range of motion to walk. Some mermaid tail blankets are designed to be narrower to give more of a mermaid look, but Blankie Tails are wide enough at the top that they're easy to slip into, and they remain comfortably wide where the tail narrows. If you're short and like wearing fuzzy socks, 10/10 would recommend.

My tween loves mermaids and we live in a cold climate. She was always carting around a lap blanket in winter, so this was a real treat for her. It was a birthday gift that she liked from day 1. I had to force her to go without it 1 evening so I can wash it (alas, it is still a blanket, and blankets get dirty) She pouted that evening, but it's clean and fresh again. This is a great idea.

this mermaid blanket was large enough for my older daughter to enjoy! Both my 11 year old and nine year old can use this blanket with ease! Soft, cute, and cozy.
