Her main complaint with her two past brands that she's has always used was that she could feel a heavy wax texture when she applied either one and at times they would often bleed or migrate slightly into the age lines that have developed around her lips in the winter of her youth. With these four lipsticks from Indigo and Iris she found quickly that they went on smoothly and with no bleeding as she puts it and none of them had a waxy feel. She agreed with their descriptions stating they went on Buttery Smooth and were Smudge and Smear Proof compared to her other two brands that she purchased in the past.The wife feels that the four matte colors provided with this Indigo and Iris's Lipstick Kit will work well for all 4 seasons of the year and she was impressed with the magnetic closure on each tube which she's never found available with her other two brands so for now she won't have to worry about the tube cover sliding off in her purse and staining the inside of it. She feels like her old brands did last longer than the ones in this kit after each application but only due to their heavy wax content that she can taste when she runs her tongue across her lips and those brands can also end up applying a smudge of lipstick on her teeth at times which this lipstick has never done since she's been using them... She and I both agree that this Lipstick Kit from Indigo and Iris deserves a 5 Star Rating due to the Premium Quality Product from Italy that they are promoting!

I recently purchased the indigo & iris Matte Lipstick Set, and I must say, my daughter has mixed opinions. While the lipstick set claims to offer hydration, long-lasting wear, and a smudge-proof finish with a velvet soft texture, the actual experience fell short of expectations.The colors didn't quite live up to the vibrancy suggested by the photos, and the texture wasn't as luxurious as described. My daughter, in particular, was not impressed with the overall quality. While it's advertised as suitable for all skin tones, it might not be the ideal choice for everyone.If you're considering this set, it might be worth keeping in mind that the actual product may not match the visual and descriptive appeal portrayed in the marketing. It's always a bit disappointing when a product doesn't quite meet expectations, especially when considering the higher-end claims.

These lipsticks are all very bright shades. I was expecting some brightness but I hoped at least one was more subdued for an everyday shade. They are beautiful highly pigmented lipsticks I just can't do such a bold lip everyday.

This lipstick set is a great value. Four beautiful colors for a pretty decent price. I loved each color. The lipstick goes on really smooths and sits nicely on the lips. It has decent wear but does not last through eating and drinking. Overall a great set for a great value. This would be a great gift set for a person who loves makeup

Before I even tried the lipsticks, I pulled out the business card that was inside the plastic zippered bag with the products. I’m completely appalled why a company would make vulgarity a “normal” part of their advertising. Show some class & stand out! Too many businesses choose to “follow the crowd.” 🤦🏼‍♀️The product containers are made so there’s a magnetic feature to the lids & bases. I’m guessing this is in attempt to prevent messes in your purse.The colors are vibrant except for the “orange.” It actually is more of a tinted gloss.They all go on smoothly, but smear easily despite their advertising claims.These are also supposed to be “matte” finish, but had quite the shine. Especially the “orange” one.I’m unsure why these are marketed for “older women” as lipstick can be used by a variety of ages.Overall, these lipsticks are average. There’s no reason to splurge on these when there’s numerous others that actually don’t smear & are more budget friendly.

I like that the color on the lips is truly the color you see in the tube. It goes on smoothly and seems to last well. There wasn’t any running even in hot weather. The texture and luster are both creamy- not really a high shine, but also not matte. They make for a nice middle luster.

These lipsticks are fantastic! You get three matte- but not drying- shades, along with a sheer balmy option.For the mattes one of them is a pretty, cool-toned, mid pink. You also get a tawny sort of 90s brownish shade and the most perfect rich, deep red shade. These mattes feel incredible on the lips, because they’re not drying! But, because they’re matte, it will last for hours on your lips.This sheer one is a pretty peach shade that just adds a little bit of a warm peachy pink glow. Obviously, it looks great in the summer, but I can’t wait to wear this one in the fall and winter to just brighten my face up. It goes great with a bolder eye look too!The packaging of this lipstick is really elevated too. It has a magnetic closure, and the shiny silver tube looks so aesthetically pleasing. Between the quality of the lipsticks themselves, along with this high-end packaging, this will make an amazing gift for anybody you know that loves lipstick!

This was a great set to get to try a variety of shades. I usually only wear lip balms, but wanted some options for nights out. I have pretty light toned skin, but each shade seems to be complimentary. Finding a good red is tough because there are so many hues, but I really do like this one. They go on smooth and stay soft, and there's a subtle sweet scent as well. One of the lighter shades lasted well for a night out through dinner without reapplying. The packaging is simple and nice. They actually magnet to each other if they're close by, so easy storage too I guess.
