Torchio Hand Press Pasta Maker!

This works great. I had a long standing goal to make pasta with excellent texture. In the process I broke an electric pasta extruder which had plastic parts. But this thing is bulletproof.One recipe that works well is simply 300g semolina (I have been using Antimo Caputo brand) and 100g water. Add additional water by the teaspoon, if needed, to get a dough which does not hold together but rather crumbles into ping-pong ball-sized chunks. The pressure from the extrusion does the rest.

Good product. Very sturdy. A couple of times I thought the dough was made too dry but the pasta maker handled the dough without any problems. highly recommended.

Makes beautiful bigoli pasta and more depending on the pasta dies you buy! My husband attached his Torchio to a moving wood block table which works perfectly! You can only get bigoli pasta if you buy the Torchio!
